News from our PTA President
Vineyard Ranch PTA Website: www.vineyardranchpta.org
Autumn is in the air – can you feel it? Your Vineyard Ranch PTA has been very busy so far this fall. We hope everyone has enjoyed the programs we bring to campus. The first unit of art lessons from Meet the Masters has concluded. Thanks to all those who as-sisted Mrs. Brzozowski in STEAMM with the hands-on projects. The artist was Piet (“peet”) Mondrian. Hopefully you got to see your little artist’s creation of geometric shapes and primary colors. We also ac-cepted art pieces submitted for the National PTA art contest, Reflections. Judging will take place in early November. Red Ribbon Week took place in the last week of the month, and our students were asked how to “Respect Yourself” and Be Drug Free. Vine-yard Ranch PTA coordinated volunteers to assist at School Picture Day, at the Apex Fun Run (school fund-raiser), and to help with a cultural display for Dia de los Muertos. Planning has begun for the Winter Holi-day party, so be on the lookout for info from the Room Representatives in your child’s class. We are also grateful for the volunteers who come regularly to help with copy room, environmental efforts, li-brary, lunchroom, and workrooms.
For November, PTA will be helping out at the Veter-ans Day Ceremony on campus. This is always a very patriotic event and lots of Bronco parents and family members who served our country will be our guests.
The end of the month brings Thanksgiving break. We hope you will have a great week off from school and have fun spending time with friends and family. We are thankful for our Bronco community: students, parents, teachers, and staff.
Please let me know if you have any questions or com-ments about Vineyard Ranch PTA. You can always go to our website, www.vineyardranchpta.org, which is chock full of information. The next general PTA meeting takes place on Tuesday, December 1 at 6:30 PM. The 5th graders will perform that evening, and the Honorary Texas PTA Life Membership Award(s) will be presented as well.
See you at the Ranch!

Please join us in honoring military personnel at the Ranch. Our campus will present a Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11. Seating will begin at 7:30 AM in the amphithe-ater for our guests. The ceremony will begin at 7:45 AM. Afterwards, we invite veterans and their families to the cafeteria for coffee, juice, and pastries. We hope to see you there!
Veterans Day
Thank you to all those families who donated new tennis shoes to our first collection drive of the year. The students at Oak Grove Elementary will definitely be able to keep their toes warm and cozy this winter. In all, Vineyard Ranch PTA was able to deliver 133 pairs of shoes to their campus.

Later this month, look for a flyer about the next drive for Oak Grove. Vineyard Ranch PTA will be collecting board games as well as new or gently used jackets and coats for our Sister School. Thank you in advance for your generosity this holiday season!
Rain plan — The ceremony will be held in the cafeteria with the reception following in the library.

Dia de Los Muertos
Many thanks to the parents, staff, and students who helped set up the ofrenda in the school atrium for Dia de Los Muertos this month. The display was beautiful and it was truly a community effort. We are fortunate to have students from diverse cultural backgrounds at the Ranch!
