TOPIC SENTENCE 1:• This part provides supporting evidence to

your main idea.• Use only one sentence.• Describe topic sentence 1 as clearly as

you can so your audience could understand it.

EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT:• Point form is used to identify the

evidence.• Evidence should be very specific and

target specific aspects of the topic sentence 1.

Transitional Sentence 1:

• Use only one sentence for transition.• Transitional sentence is intended to

conclude the argument; in other words, it is not repeated once again; also it provides foundation for the second argument below.

idea.• Use only one sentence.• Describe topic sentence 2 as clearly as you can so

your audience could understand it.• The topics sentences of your essay should be

completely different and connected by transitional sentences.

they should not repeat from paragraph to paragraph.

• Use only one sentence for concluding paragraph.• Transitional sentence is intended to conclude the

argument in other words it is not repeated once again; and it provides foundation for the second argument below. Exclude transitional sentence as it is the final part.
