that allows you to draw, color and edit
pictures. You can create different designs
using this program. Compared to other graphics
software, it is best for beginners because it has tools
that are simple and easy to use.

Drill #1 (Line-Making Tools)
1. Open Paint.
2. Type your name, section, and class number in the upper left
corner of your drawing area using the Text tool.
3. Create 10 dots using the pencil, brush and airbrush tools.
4. Connect two dots together in order to make a line. Use line and
curve tools. You should have five lines. You should create an
interesting design out of these lines and dots.
5. Save your work. (Filename: Drill1 – Section, CN)

Drill #2 (Coloring and Shape-Making Tools)
1. Open Paint.
2. Type your name, class number and section in the upper left corner
of your drawing area using the Text Tool.
3. Create 10 shapes using the rectangle, polygon, ellipse, and
rounded rectangle tools. Make sure that the shapes are
overlapping each other.
4. Color the shapes using the Fill with Color tool. Avoid using the
same color on shapes beside or on top of each other. Create your
own artwork.

2. Type your name, class number and section in the upper left
corner of your drawing area using the Text tool.
3. Draw three circles with spaces in between using the ellipse tool.
4. Select the first circle using the select tool.
5. Drag the first circle and put it on top of the second circle.
6. Select the third circle using the select button.
7. Drag the third circle and put it below the second circle.

1. Open MS Paint.
2. Type your name, section and class number at the upper left
corner of the drawing area. Use black color only.
3. On the next line, center, type I am a Filipino using the Text tool.
4. Below the title, draw the Philippine flag using the shapes tools.
5. Apply appropriate color on the parts of the flag using the Fill
with Color tool.
6. Below the flag, type one trait of a Filipino. You may use any color
for the text.
7. Save your work:
a. Click the Paint button
b. Click Save As
c. Click Desktop on the left pane.
d. On the right pane, double click NAS, then Grade 3, then
your section, then your name.

a. Right click on it.
b. Choose Open With
c. Choose Paint
2. Resize the Paint window so it would fit only half of your screen.
Position it on the left.
3. Open another Paint window. Click Start > All Programs >

by side with Animals window.
5. On the new blank Paint window, type your name, section, and CN

6. Think of one habitat that you learned in your Science lesson. Type
