To the Teacher

My MATH Adventure–Preparatory is the third of a series of mathematics textbooks written specifically for preschool pupils. This book reinforces to preparatory pupils the mathematical skills introduced in the first and second books. This book offers a variety of challenges that will help learners master the mathematical concepts introduced in the first two books. The book is divided into four units, all of which present various mathematical concepts and activities that will engage your pupils in enjoyable learning experiences involving math. The discussions follow the simple-to-complex paradigm, which will allow young learners to comprehend better the concepts presented in this book. The activities in this book are arranged according to their levels of difficulty. The initial activities introduce the mathematical concepts while the succeeding activities foster skills development and mastery. An additional component called Dear Parents has been added to help you establish a partnership with your pupils’ parents. This partnership will ensure that your pupils will continue learning math even outside the classroom. This book also has an accompanying teacher’s manual, which contains suggested lesson plans on how to present each mathematical concept included in the book. May this book help you introduce young learners to the wonderful world of mathematics.
