Zero ohms adjustments:
Use to set the pointer exactlyOn zero position at the right side of meter panel
Zero corrector:
Use to set the meter pointer toZero position at the left side ofThe meter panel
Range selector:
It is used to adjust the proper Function range for specific measurement
Dial pointer
Dial scale:
DC voltagerange
Voltmeter: is an instrument is usedMeasuring voltage or potential difference
Observed polarity in measuringDC voltage and current.
Always set at higher range of meter

AC voltage range
1. Before taking a measurement, the pointer position should beconfirmed to zero on the top ohm scale.
2. With the + and – COM terminalsshorted together, the meter isadjusted by turning the zeroohm adj. to the right or left inorder to place on zero at right.
3. Always set the meter pointer onthe highest range of therefunction, if measuring an unknownvoltage or current.

Voltmeter:
Is used when it is necessary to determine thepresence or absence of an electrical pressure or voltage on a unit under test.
Tester has two voltmeter functions:
1. AC or alternating current
2. DC or Direct current
