    IntelliMineMine Management System

    Real-time Mine Management

    Real-time DISPATCHOperational Checklist and Guide

    1. Start of Shift:

    q General:a. Excavs

    i. Dig locations (assigned)ii. Materials (and grades if required)iii. Dump locks / barsiv. Ensure correct and change of statuses and corresponding event

    b. Trucksi. Set up any special project locks / assignments to Excavsii. Remove all truck locks that will operate in normal dispatched productioniii. Ensure correct and change of statuses and corresponding event

    c. Dumpsi. Set any targets as requiredii. Set any capacities as required

    d. Graphicsi. Review and check dig locations (use GPS queries and / or GPS status report)ii. Review and check dump locations (use GPS queries and / or GPS status report)

iii. Review and check roads (should typically only require changes resulting from updatingof dig / dump locations but may occasionally require a major change such as a new ramp/ access, etc.)

iv. Review and check beacons (Excavs, dumps, and key call points at intersections andelevation changes)

    v. Review, check, and ensure strategic reassignment beacon configurations

q DISPATCH Optimization Strategy Set-up:Order Area Description

    1 Shiftproductionobjectives

q Ensure clear communication and confirmation between Mine Controllers (dispatchers)

and Pit Controllersq According to mine plan and operational requirements

    2 LP Global

    Parameters

    q Ensure LPMATCHTRUCKS = YES

3 Priorities q Ensure assign by priority option = YESq Set all excav priorities for each loading unit based on the production objective

    4 Utilizationlevels

q Initially set at 100% for all excavs

    5 ProportionalFeeding

q Set selectively between specific loading units as needed based on:o Desired haulage resource allocation strategieso Lower dig rates to preclude going unused when necessary

    6 RankingReport

q Open Ranking report to monitor initial responseq Determine if adjustment is necessary Go to 2.

    2. Continuously throughout Shift:q General:

    a. Update any required manual assignments as necessaryi. Truck assignments to Excavs in special projects or circumstancesii. Truck assignments to dumps or Excav dump locksiii. Adjust reassignment beacons as necessary

    b. Review GPS dot traces of trucks and loading units and adjust locations accordingly as requiredi. Roadsii. Dump locationsiii. Load locations (Truck and / or Excavs)

    c. Query Excav GPS locations and contrast against configured locations (if not using auto-updatefunctionality)

    d. Update Excav information as requiredi. Dig locationsii. Materialsiii. Dump locks

    e. Assign, update, and add grades as requiredf. Adjust dump capacities and targets accordingly in line with production objective

q DISPATCH Optimization Strategy Set-up:Order Area Description

    1 Shiftproductionobjectives

q Ensure clear communication and confirmation of any changes or adjustmentsbetween Mine Controllers (dispatchers) and Pit Controllers

    2 LP GlobalParameters

    q Ensure LPMATCHTRUCKS = YES

3 Priorities q Ensure assign by priority option = YESq Adjust priorities as necessary such that the ranking report reflects the current

    production objective

    4 Utilizationlevels

q Adjust / modify levels as necessary to fine-tune the priorities

o In response to priority adjustments and dig rate changeso Such that the LP allocates haulage resources to meet the specific planned

    production within any blend

    5 ProportionalFeeding

q Set selectively between specific loading units as needed based on:o Desired haulage resource allocation strategieso Lower dig rates to preclude going unused when necessary

    6 RankingReport

q Monitor Ranking report to ensure desired orderq Adjust priorities as necessary and fine-tune with utilization levels

    3. Monitor Continuously at All Times:

    a. Event capture and usei. Ensure correct capture of all changes for Excavs and Trucksii. Direct and enforce operator compliance

    b. Load / haul cycle actionsi. Ensure capture of all actions not generated using automated methods for each loadii. Direct and enforce operator compliance

    c. Unused excavsi. Determine reason for no LP pathii. Validate or resolve accordingly

    d. Queuingi. Ensure Arrive action is generated at point of stopping for trucks arriving at load location

outside of beaconii. Reassignment of reassigned trucks when loading unit changes statusiii. Maintain Ready status of trucks non-reassigned trucks when loading unit changes status

    e. Idle times for both trucks and excavsi. Under trucked conditions:

    1. Monitor the Unused excavs2. Put Unused excavs on Standby with corresponding event code as deemed

    necessaryii. Over trucked conditions:

    1. Monitor required vs. actual and queues at loading units / dumps2. Park any excess haulage capacity and put on Standby with corresponding event

code as deemed necessaryf. In-pit dumping (Ensure material is set to corresponding in-pit material type)g. Non-production load / haul outside of the production circuit i.e. crusher to plant, etc.

    i. Ensure corresponding material type (XXX) and event code change (code XXX for bothtrucks and excavs)

ii. Disable loading units and lock trucks while operating in this circuith. Fueling

    i. Trucks change to Delay status XXX while traveling to fuel bay and then Delay statusXXX while fueling

ii. Excavs change to Delay status XXX when fueling (no other additional codes used forexcav fueling event)

    i. Excav movesi. Long: Standby status XXXii. Short: Delay status XXX

    4. Shift Change

    a. Tie-down / parkup locations:i. Define and set-up desired park-up locations (manually or using Tie-down module)ii. Program truck assignments to park-up locations (manually or using Tie-down Module)iii. Review programmed maintenance (PM) schedule to determine available equipment for

on-coming shiftiv. Set line-up of on-coming operators with equipment to be operatedv. Ensure operator compliance with tie-down assignments to correct locationsvi. Confirm actual truck tie-down locations and excav locationsvii. Ensure communication of lineup program and equipment locations to on-coming

    operatorsb. Status changes:

    i. Ensure Status / Event change upon arrival at tie-down location
