The story Dem Bones helped groups assemble their own giant skeleton!! Great online resources for kindergarten: Check out these two apps: Bugsy Kindergarten Math and Splash Math (free Lite version). They looked fun to me. Two great apps for practicing handwriting skills are Writing Wizard and iWriteWords. You can download both from itunes. Have fun playing AND learning! If you come across any great educational apps or programs I’d love to hear about them! This week was white week. We read about the color white, sang a song about white and read about white ghosts and skeletons. We even got to eat white, vanilla ice cream. YUM!

# Next week, we will focus on the color black. Bats and spiders wil l be the talk of the week.

# Thank you, parents, for taking time to come in for Parent-Teacher conferences. It’s always nice to see you and discuss the little people we spend time with. I truly enjoy this group of kindergarteners and I’m finding the parents to be equally pleasant. I look forward to our continued work together this year. ☺
