ACCOMPLISHMENTS v1) There is now Evangelism being carried on in 5 different villageAll preaching is being done by Mexican Christians. One village is a

most completely on i t s own. None of the churches o r p reache rs receimoney from. U.S. for preaching or building church buildings. There aChrist ians in 4 of the 5 vi l lages . All of the Christ ians who have beconverted in the pas t 3 yrs . have rema ined fa i th fu l .2 Eilemon Castor, Mexican Christian, working and now living at SandChico, is already teaching Christ ian leadership to two young Christianone a converted student priest). Lord willing, the Fall of this yeaformal Bible classes are to begin for Christian leaders in the followifields? Evangel is ts , Elders, Deacons, Bible School Teachers Sunday aD.V.B.S . .

Concerning the secular education, reading, writ ing e tc .have a Christian g i r l in teachers college. Her name is Yolanda GuajarPlease remember her in your prayers. We have a legal contract with ht ha t we wi l l pay fo r her schoo l ing and she must teach here a t SandChico for 3 yr s . without pay. Her schooling i s very expens iv e, anddespera te ly need someone to help in th is area . I t i s cost ing us an aerage of 50 monthly. She can wri te in Engl i sh , so i f anyone wouldin te res ted in t ak ing on t h i s pro j e c t of h er su pp ort you could correpond V7ith her d i rec t ly . Anyone in te res ted may contact us a t the Mahuala pos t a l address . I t i s very important tha t we have a Chris t is ecula r te ac he r, as many, many Christ ians in th i s area can nei ther renor wri te . This , of course, hinders them from being more effec t ileaders for hrist

    (3) Radio work - Again the Lord has blessed, as we had not even hopto be able to secure radio t ime th i s soon. However, a f t e r hear ing BMorgan, El Paso, Texas, speak at a Faith Promise Rally, we decided onagain to launch out on Faith. Fileraon was able to secure time on tMatehuala radio s t a t i on . This i s th e s t a t ion most l i s t ened to by tvillage people in our area. Now each Sunday morning at 9:30, FreemBump s taped sermons in Spanish are being heard on that station. Tcos t i s about 26.00 monthly.4 The Children s Home also was to be a project of the future. Bthe ways or will of the Lord is sometimes different. Two years agSefa Trejo came to us. She is now a Christian. Now we have Tony, 1 y3 mos. old. And last , but not least, we have Altagracia. She is 13 yold. Both of her parents are dead. She has a younger brother who livwith an aunt. Alta is a cousin of Che (the converted student priestHe asked i f we would keep her at least until April, when she is to goher grandmother in Monterey. anypeople say she will want to stay heIf she can be of greater use to the Lord here than in Monterey, then

5 e have been able to buy 1,100 acres of fer t i le land with water.had to borrow the money from the U.S. to meet the l a s t payment of 200The payments on the loan wil l be 115. monthly. With this land we hto complete our home and provide l iv ing quarte rs fo r our fami l iesthe Chris t ian famil ies who work here . Also there i s and wil l be farmdone to help sus ta in a l l hris t ian fami l ies v:ho a re l iv ing on SanChico. Most or a l l of these famil ies wil l be taking unwanted and/orphaned chi ldren in to the i r homes and providing for them physically, wel l as sp i r i t u a l l y6 Already, the land of Sandia Chico has been used for D.V.B.S. Lyear there was one week of D.V.B.S. held here. One day there werepeople and 5 new conversions. In the future, Lord w illin g th ere wil l

Thanks to a doctor friend in Indiana and Bob OlsToledo, Ohio, many souls were saved because of this medical help.then things began to mushroom, and the demand for medical assis tancegreater than our physical bodies could cope with. e began to praymore help. The Lord provided a nurse, Susan Ogden, and another helpKaren Kahler. e now t reat as many as 45 people daily here at our hoSometimes some of these people must be kept at least one night..t ra i ler home has turned into combination hospital , office, childrehome and restaurant (there are 16-24 people eating here - 15 people lhere, and the others are workers who come to help on the building pjec ts) . The t ra i ler is 19 x 8. e sleep in a 10 x 12 f t tent.boy workers sleep in the trai ler, and the girls 5 of them sleep instore house. Now we are trying to build a combination home and temporclinic. This will be used until sufficient money comes in to buildregular hospital. Labor and bricks will be donated by the Mexican ppie, but money will be needed for cement, steel rods and other equment. e have seen miracles. One day, some people brought a babywas dying of pneumonia. He was gasping and fighting for air. He haterrible temperature. None of us thought he would live very long.did not have any oxygen for him. Susan administered what medical hshe could, and then we called one of the Christian Mexican workersto pray for the baby.
