ENTRY REQUIREMENTS4 Successful completion of at least 12 weeks of General English at Intermediate level (plus 80% attendance) at APC or at other approved providers or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 4.5 or equivalent.

COURSE OVERVIEW This course is intended to meet a demand for English language training specifically related to tourism and hospitality. Students planning to study within these fields need to have developed the lexical resources they need to cope in a global English world. Therefore the course prepares students intending to study or work in the Tourism and Hospitality fields.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES• To prepare students for further study and employment in Tourism and Hospitality related fields• To foster high level language development in the areas of reading, writing, speaking, listening,
vocabulary, specific functions and grammar• To guide self-study in order that students might consolidate knowledge
PATHWAYSStudents who successfully complete 12 weeks of English for Tourism & Hospitality (plus 80% attendance) at APC may gain direct entry to Travel and Tourism courses at APC (providing academic requirements are also met), and subsequently continue to our pathway universities through our articulation pathways program.
