Trustee’s message:

Jay Sardar

Greetings to all…!!!

I am very happy to see the school gradually taking shape in the right direction aligned with our school’s vision. We are intending to be different in many ways with a different line of thoughts. These differences will make a strong impact on the academic understanding and holistic development of children.

For the students taking the formative assessments, I would like to suggest not creating any fear for exam. The one, who manages his work and time with his specifically set goals, would certainly achieve success in life. It is very important to manage and plan the timetable for academics and non academics activities you are involved in. You should also be taking some quality time for the activities of your interests in sports or arts or any other area of your choice.

For the over all development, all these things should be taken care. Students owning excellent academic performance, discipline, regularity and good hobbies are sure to reach great height of success in their lives.

In a nut sell, I would like to conclude as the children with their parents’ expectations and blessing, guidance of teachers, good company of friends and their positive attitude will surely become successful in life. To secure good marks in an exam in not important but one needs to introspect and analyze his strengths and mistakes after the results in order to improve up on it, positively.

May you all get happiness and success in life!

Kind Regards

Shree Chunibhai Gajera

Managing Trustee

Principal’s Message:

‘A dream is not that which you see while sleeping; it is something that does not let you sleep.’ - Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

Our school, Gajera International School is the realization of one such dream, a dream that crystallized into reality only because of the sheer grit and determination of our visionary Founder Chairman, Shree Chunibhai Gajera. It is with a mixed sense of humility and honor that today, we find ourselves amongst the top schools of Surat not just in terms of teaching and learning, but also with regard to the well-being and holistic development of our students.

At GIS, every child placed in our care is precious and we aim to provide the best possible environment for the child to grow in a secure, safe habitat where they may weave their dreams and grow.

The philosophy of the school is based upon the Statement of Purpose, which provides

the fountainhead from which our students’dreams take flight, for it combines a strongbelief in service with compassion and an underlying awareness of the greatness of our own culture.

We are fortunate to have a talented and dedicated team of educators, along with a single-mindedly committed support staff who make sure that our learning environment is the best. It is in this ambience that our students imbibe their education.

It is our endeavor to groom our children for life after school by making them well rounded individuals, who will be able to contribute to the society they live in, who shall set out to leave the world a better place than what they found it to be!

Principal

Cover Story:

Freedom of expression in the modern world is a characteristic attribute of the social life as it allows people to vent their thoughts and feelings without the fear of prosecution. Moreover, it helps people to know the ideas of others and use their talent to accomplish complex tasks. In the present era, freedom of expression has become an important voice for the common people. It has immense benefits and they are as follows:

Responsibility: A person after obtaining the freedom of speech tends to become responsible and is also aware of the liabilities. In addition, the power transforms the society making it more progressive with gradual evolution.

Improvement of the self-confidence: People who are suppressed suffer from low self esteem and are incapable of taking decisions. The world should encourage the common man to express dissent verbally as it makes the democracy vibrant.

Innovation: Freedom of expression ensures the promotion of the spirit of innovation. Countries such as US and UK provide the amenable environment to people so that they can think freely and create new products as well as services.

Development of nation: Freedom of expression is instrumental in facilitating the communication channel between the government and public.

Vibrant media: If freedom of expression is truly implemented in a country, it can lead to a creation of powerful media capable of formulating the public opinion. Media is essential to voice the people’s opinion.

Let us all feel the freedom to express our true self this Independence Day and also realize the responsibility that freedom brings upon our shoulder.

‘Live in harmony with nature'

We have to learn to live in harmony with nature thereby protecting the environment and other living beings that inhabit the earth.

Only when we learn to live in harmony with nature, could we expect nature to behave in the manner that has been there for several hundred years. When man indulges in affecting nature and its composition through pollution and deforestation, humankind will be forced to repent for generations. This should be avoided at any cost.

The development of mankind has been intertwined with that of nature and wildlife. Any break in their ranks would not augur well for the future. Only when people go against nature, will they be forced to face nature's fury like in the form of earthquakes, tsunamis and droughts.

Every individual should take a vow to plant and raise at least 25 trees during one's life time as a contribution to Mother Nature.

We as school need to foster good habits and, make efforts to help the students understand how responsible we all are towards our nature which gives a lot without asking anything in return.
