“Parents are not mere attendees of PTMs and programs conducted by Gajera Trust but they are active participants
working together for a common goal of holistic development.”
A successful beginning sustained with confidence, persistence and a definite goal, empowers you to lead a
creative and progressive journey. It truly reflects through the programs and initiatives by Gajera Trust at school and
community level.
Progressive Parent-Teacher Meetings
The young learners are leading the Trust’s vision to enhance each life by spreading ‘One Happiness!’ Parent-
Teacher Meeting was a great example of our students’ innovative leadership skills. Entire meeting was prominently
embraced by the creativity and self-expression that thriving Gajerians displayed through their creations and
presentations. Parents are not mere attendees of PTMs and programs conducted by Gajera Trust but they are active
participants working together for a common goal of holistic development.
Encouraging activities at Sunita’s Makerspace
Enabling young wizards to share and spread their crazy yet sustainable ideas, Sunita’s Makerspace introduced its
new logo with one more initiative called ECHO. ECHO is an innovation-driven platform for passionate individuals to
gather and hold constructive conversations. ECHO-THINK conducted at Utran campus was a great start where exciting
talents of Gajera Trust and other schools presented their promising thoughts in different fields like arts, science, drama,
public speaking, music, and dance. Educating students to be the pioneers of global environmental initiatives, an Eco-
friendly Brick Making Workshop was conducted through ECHO-THINK, where kids learned to make bricks from waste
material. Further, young artisans learned to craft wire and make amazing sculptures through Wire Art Workshop
conducted at Katargam Campus. The new academic year has begun with amazing opportunities. So let’s seize every
opportunity and progress to achieving each goal leading towards excellence.

"When educating the minds of our youth, we must not forget to educate their hearts”.
- Dalai Lama
As a principal of Gajera we focus on discovering, developing and drawing out the hidden talents and the
magic lying dormant inside all of its students. From academics to co-curricular activities, perseverance and a
never-say-die spirit are entrenched in the heart of every student not only making them good students but
brilliant human beings. In today’s dynamic world, a 360-degree development and grooming are of supreme
importance and through our campus; we are creating an environment for future leaders, entrepreneurs and
professional who possess skills and aptitudes in an array of functional disciplines.
Education is not merely acquirement of facts but also of values which help us improve the different
facets of mankind. It ensures that we leave the world a far better place than we found it. A pivotal role of
education lies in shaping the personality of a child into a healthy mind and happy soul, who is not only
equipped with 21st-century skills and aptitude required for academic excellence but helping him face the
challenges of life in a balanced and harmonious way. Therefore, the system of education should work as a
catalyst in making each child a balanced human being having his core strengths embedded in the learning
experiences emanating from our rich socio-cultural roots.
In this pursuit of excellence, I appreciate our parent fraternity for supporting the school in every aspect.
I also laud the relentless efforts of our teachers for giving their best in bringing out the best in each child. But I
would exhort the students to be always modest, humble and disciplined while being ready to expand the
horizons of their knowledge and skills by dreaming big and working hard.

Activities help the kids to know the concept in the fun and easy way and also encourage them for sharing their thought, idea and feeling.
Activities are a way to encourage the process and experience of thinking and making them better. As we progress from infancy into childhood we meet the most important stage of development.

‘Yog karo, Nirogi raho’
Yoga is the art work of awareness on the canvas of body mind soul.
Yoga day was celebrated on 21/06/17. Different yoga posture was done by
our little champ with great fun and smile under the guidance of Yoga Guru.
Yoga helps to bring peace, happiness, and success to every soul in the world.
This was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of discipline. Yoga is a Hindu spiritual
and ascetic discipline which included breath control, meditation and flexible bodily
posture. It is widely practiced and beneficial for health and relaxation.
“Yoga means addition-
Addition of energy,
Strength and beauty
To body, mind, and soul.”

‘3 reasons why you should prefer English Medium schools for Indians’
I am a strong proponent of introducing the student early on to English. There are 3 reasons for it.
Knowing English is vital
It is the language of computers. It is the language of conversation. It is the language of business. It is the
language of Science and it is the language the world speaks. Lack of fluency in English can be a huge hindrance
in the future.
Early introduction will help to build comfort with the language
We think in the language we are comfortable with. And we are comfortable with languages we pick up
early on. So sooner you introduce a student to English, the easier it is to adapt to it. In fact, science has proven
that our linguistic abilities, i.e. the ability to pick up new languages, go down drastically with age.
Early on, we can try without worrying about mistakes or failure
The older we grow, the more conscious we are of ourselves and of committing mistakes. At a young
age, we are not afraid to commit mistakes or be corrected. However, as we grow older, the stakes are higher.
That is why most people will not try to practice something new at their jobs.
The bottom line is that we need to teach our kids in English because it is vital for their future and for
that we must start early. All this is great, but we still need to consider that children learn at their own pace.
Also English is not the only thing that they have to learn at school. So we need to strike the right balance in
introducing the kids to a new language.

Global warming is largely caused by carbon dioxide emission ns. Unfortunately, the modern global economy is tied to carbon-based fuels. Because of this, taking on global warming might seem overwhelming. However, there are many things you can do to help reduce its effect. By changing your consumption habits and taking steps to save energy.
• Eat less animal products.

• Recycle and reuse what you can.

• Ride a bicycle.
• Maintain your automobile
