Introduction I love dinosaurs; I always have. Every campaign world I’ve ever created has at least one region where dinosaurs

still roam the surface, just waiting for PCs to discover them as they take a step back in time to when these giant

reptilian creatures once ruled. It didn’t take me long to realize that only a small handful of them had been released

in official products for Fifth Edition. With that in mind, I dove into monster creation and came up with more of

these amazing beasts to add to my GM Notebook, there to be tested against the mettle of those brave adventurers

daring enough to leave civilization and seek their fame and fortune in the wilder regions of my home campaign.

This supplement, Monsters for the Masters: Dinosaurs, provides Game Masters with twenty-one dinosaurs to

use in their own campaigns. Ranging from a Challenge Rating (CR) of 1/4 (the compsognathus and the

rhamphorynchus) to 17 (the spinosaurus), these prehistoric creatures are a fantastic addition to any Fifth Edition

Game Master's arsenal of monsters.

Monsters for the Masters

This book is part of the Monsters for the Masters series, a set of 5E-compatible bestiary supplements released

under the Open Gaming License. Each supplement focuses on a particular type of creatures, such as giant insects,

dinosaurs, demons or angels. The discerning Game Master need only pick up the monsters he desires that fit his

campaign needs, without having to spend a significant amount of money on a larger tome for only a handful of

useful creatures.

This bestiary supplement uses a common OGL monster entry format as its base, with modifications to support the

presentation of Fifth Edition monster statistics that are easy to read and easy to use at the table, all while

remaining within its Open Gaming Content roots.
