This edition is primarily the work ofChris Williams, who expanded all sec-tions of the book to incorporate works ofmore Dreamlands authors. ShannonAppel added the character creation sys-tem in this edition.

Monsters and gods have been addedfrom a variety of sources in this new edi-tion. Authors of these transported mon-sters include Scott David Aniolowski(children of Abhoth, guardians of thecrystallizers of dreams, ghost-beings ofIb), Larry DiTillio (children of thesphinx), Phil Frances (wenelians andphosphorescent monster), Keith Herber(messenger of Azathoth, Ghadamon,Robigus), and Kevin A. Ross (larvae ofthe other gods).

Raymond Bayless painted the coverillustration and Mark Roland painted thepicture used on the endpages. Thumb-nails are by Earl Geier. Large interiordrawings are by Jason Eckhardt andKevin Ramos. Large interior inkwashesare by Paul Carrick. Most maps are byCarolyn Schultz-Savoy, based upon oldersources and notes by the authors of thisbook.
