HASA Happenings:
CHRISTMAS AT SLADE: Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this year’s Christmas at Slade
event. This year’s event was a huge success, with over 600 people served at our annual pancake breakfast with
Santa. A special thank you to all our volunteers who helped with organizing, setting up, working the event, and
cleaning up. This event would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. We wish
everyone a Safe and Happy Holiday!!
CASH RAFFLE WINNERS: Our fall Cash Raffle drawing took place last Sunday, December 11th at Christmas
at Slade. The lucky winners were drawn by Santa. The winners were: 1st prize – Sandra Hopkins; 2nd prize –
Lenore Rath; 3rd prize – Lauren Thomas. We thank everyone who helped support this fundraiser by purchasing
and selling tickets.
LAST CHANCE: FORMER RAVENS #52 RAY LEWIS IS COMING TO SLADE!! Join us at the Slade Sports
Cards & Collectibles Show on January 7, 2017. This event will feature Ray Lewis, who will be signing
autographs and posing for pictures. Wednesday, December 21st is the last day to purchase tickets at the Slade
discounted price. Event tickets and raffle tickets will be sold again at Wednesday, Dec. 21st in the morning
before school at the carport. We are also raffling off ONE ‘FIRST-IN-LINE AUTOGRAPH ADMISSION’
ticket. The winner of the “first-in-line raffle” will be drawn on December 21 before dismissal. If you can’t make it
to the ticket sales mentioned above, contact Stacey Angerome at 202-997-1258 or Leo Zerhusen at 443-416-6447
to make arrangements to purchase your admission and raffle tickets at another time. Please see the attached flyer
