This special edition box of Lucky Charms is a dream come true for Principal Gerry Brooks because he only likes the marshmallow pieces and doesn't want any of the plain oat cereal getting in his way. Unfortunately, General Mills only makes a few thousand of these special boxes every so often, which makes them very difficult to find and very expensive, too. That's why Lefty McGoo is challenging you to come up with another way to help Principal Brooks enjoy his "marshmallows only" version of Lucky Charms anytime he gets a sweet tooth. Whether your plan for helping Principal Brooks is more like an invention or more like a strategy, Lefty McGoo can't wait to see your creative solutions for separating the colorful marshmallows from the rest of the Lucky Charms cereal. Share your ideas with us by sending in your videos, sketches, digital diagrams, prototypes, written descriptions or whatever else you think will help us understand how you plan to tackle this challenge -- and don't forget to fill us in on what happens to all of the plain pieces of cereal! Lefty McGoo is definitely NOT cool with wasting food. Our charity goal for this post is 25 responses... so, if 25 people send us their responses to this prompt, we’ll donate $100 to help No Kid Hungry make sure students have the food they need to stay healthy and keep learning. There are several different ways to submit your response, so please be sure to follow your teacher's instructions. Photo Credit: General Mills MONDAY, APRIL 27
