Jens founded wooga in 2009, and brings a passionfor people, play and technology to the Woogateam. For Jens, running a company with skilledpeople from all over the world and developinggreat games is fulfilling a lifelong dream.
Prior to founding wooga, Jens was the ChiefProduct Officer & member of the managementboard at the mobile entertainment companyJamba (Jamster) from 2001 – 2008.
At Jamba, Jens played a leading role in contentcreaJon and acquisiJon, which helped grow thecompany into the world‘s leading providers ofmobile entertainment. News Corp. acquiredJamba in 2 stages in 2007 and 2008 for a total of$388m and renamed it “Fox Mobile Group”.

Prior to joining wooga, Jan foundedand was the managing director ofHitmeister, an e-‐commercemarketplace in Germany. Jan startedhis career working at several startups,venture capital and private equityfunds, aler studying businessmanagement in Leipzig, Koblenz andKuala Lumpur. Kaufmann studied philosophy, poliJcs andinternaJonal law, she has recently published herfirst book, PoliJk im Web, about the social andpoliJcal impacts of digital and technologicalprogress and was Co-‐founder and editor in chiefof poliJkorange, a magazine for youngjournalists and poliJcally commimed youngpeople.
