Best Practices• Establish the purpose of the team

• Is your purpose better handled by a Group Chat in Teams?• Does a Team already exist for this?

• In most cases, this will be a YES. Just ask around your department.• Build channels and content prior to inviting people

• Copy your files and create announcements as needed• Craft a welcome announcement

• Use the Advanced writing in conversations to switch post to announcement• Keep owners to a minimum but have at least two for continuity

• Choose your owners wisely – they have complete control• Review all your Team settings and adjust as needed• Install Teams on all your devices, personal and UF owned

• Available as a separate download or part of Office365 Pro Plus software
