Alexandra VasilakiTechnical Services Specialist

Angel Lisboa is a Technical Support Engineer who is responsible for providing support to our customers for the 2D pattern making and marker making products. Based out of the New York City office, he joined EFI Optitex in September 2017 bringing years of Optitex experience with him.

Angel has an Accessories Design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. He is originally from Puerto Rico and speaks both English and Spanish. His love for accessories started at an early age. When he was 8 years old he created his first handbag out of a milk carton and a rope. He brings to the team many strengths including 2D pattern making for handbags and his ability to create quick production ready patterns. Angel is very family oriented and loves his dog and 4 cats, all rescued from shelters.

Angel’s favorite Optitex product is the integration of the 3D solution in the 2D environment.

Angel LisboaTechnical Support Engineer

Alexandra Vasilaki is a Technical Services Specialist who primarily does pre- sales projects and demos. Afterwards Alexandra will follow up by training the customer on the software. Alexandra’s work touches both enterprise and corporate companies across Europe. Working with EFI Optitex Israel, but based out of Athens Greece, she joined Optitex in 2012 following 9 years working at an Optitex Dealer location in Athens.

Alexandra is from Greece, here she studied Pattern Making at a private college. She speaks both English and Greek. Prior to joining Optitex she worked as a software trainer at a software company in Athens. Before switching to work in software she was a pattern maker at several Greek fashion brands.

Alexandra’s favorite Optitex product is 3D because it is the most exciting. for their customers.

Arthur HuPre- Sales Consultant

Boby Wong is a Sr. Professional Services Consultant who works in pre- sales, post sales, and supports all the EFI Optitex dealers in Asia. Based out of the EFI Optitex Hong Kong office, he joined Optitex in 2008. Boby works with customers of all sizes in the cut and sew industry, including apparel and accessories through production.

Boby studied at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. He loves traveling and taking photos. Boby worked as a sales support manager for over 10 years at a large Hong Kong based Importer, Exporter company before joining the team at Optitex.

Boby’s favorite Optitex products are PDS and Marker because they are simple and easy to use.

Boby WongSr. Professional Services Consultant

Arthur Hu is a Pre- Sales Consultant whose main focuses are pre- sales, technical support, and training. Based out of Shanghai, he joined EFI Optitex in August of 2016, having worked previously at PGM. As an Optitex China Agent he has worked with the Optitex software since 2001.

Arthur previously worked as a designer at a local fashion brand in China. He speaks both Mandarin Chinese and English. His passions at Optitex started from fashion and lead him to 3D, PDS and grading.

Arthur’s favorite Optitex products are 3D and Nest ++ Pro because they are the best.

David SultanSr. Professional Services Consulatant

Emanuel Sepulveda is a Technical Application Specialist who does pre- sales and post- sales work with all Optitex products. Based out of the New York City office, he joined EFI Optitex in January of 2015 bringing with him industry experience from a variety of areas.

Emanuel received his Masters of Arts in Fashion at the Savannah College of Art and Design after studying Philosophy at Cornell University. Before joining Optitex Emanuel worked at several different fashion brands in the New York City area as a pattern maker and technical designer. He has worked for another CAD/ CAM provider by training customers and discussing implantation. Emanuel is fluent in English, semi- fluent in French and conversational in Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys figure drawing, painting, sous-vide cooking, bicycling and boomerang.

Emanuel’s favorite Optitex product is 3D. He believes that Optitex is unique in the strength the 2D tools and using the 3D side allows users to see their 2D works as a complete garment.

David Sultan is a Sr. Professional Services Consultant who completes demos, training, support and content creation. Based out of the EFI Optitex Israel office, he joined Optitex in 2010 with a pattern making and technical design background.

David has studied at the International Academy of Fashion Design AEC in Fashion/ Apparel Design, the Institute of Professional Training in Fashion Marketing, and at the Saint Laurent Cegep in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining the Optitex team in Israel, he worked at several different Canadian fashion brands as a pattern maker and technical designer. He speaks English, French and Hebrew. David is a Moroccan French-Canadian Israeli that gets his sign languages mixed up. He loves martial arts and exploring new shows, events and attractions with his children. David holds an EU passport.

David’s favorite Optitex product is 3D, because it offers innovative value for a wide range of Hard & Soft Goods industries.

Haley WandroTechnical Services Specialist

Inbal Eyal is a Professional Services Consultant who focuses on all the needs of specific enterprise accounts. Based out of the EFi Optitex Israel office she joined Optitex in February of 2015 joining the team with designer experience as well as 3D experience outside of Optitex. Inbal deals daily with perfecting 3D simulations to create to final renders for styles.

Inbal has a Fashion Design degree from Shenkar college of Engineering and Design and speaks both Hebrew and English. She loves art, running and playing sports, spending time with her family, going to the beach and makes the best mojito cupcakes! Inbal is very motivated and likes to challenges and to push herself to succeed.

Inbal’s favorite Optitex product is 3D. She is very passionate about all that is 3D related outside of Optitex but especially at Optitex.

Inbal EyalProfessional Services Consultant

Haley Wandro is a Technical Application Specialist who does pre- sales and post- sales work with all Optitex products. Based out of the New York City office, she joined EFI Optitex in October of 2017 bringing with her industry experience from a variety of areas.

Haley received a degree in Apparel Merchandising and design from Iowa State University. While she was in school she worked at several prisons Using Optitex to help them with grading, marker making, and ergonomics which taught her a lot about mass production. Following school Haley moved to NYC to work at a large US brand as a Technical Designer. She met the Optitex team at an EDU event and was very eager to join. Haley loves all things outdoors including hiking, camping and exploring NYC parks. She enjoys history and is looking forward to one day going to Europe.

Haley’s favorite Optitex product is grading and the grade rule library. She finds it so interesting that every user grades a little differently and she loves helping people translate their way of working from paper into digital.

Ji HangTechnical Account Manager

Josh Scott is a Sr. Manager Business and Professional Services main focus is to implement software and support clients’ needs for the enterprise accounts. Based out of the New York City office, he joined EFI Optitex in 2007 working in the technical team he works with clients as well as the internal team to make everyone successful.

Josh studied photography at art school in Portland and since joining Optitex has studied tailoring and pattern making at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. He loves to go to the beach, travel and space which is what lead him to get a tattoo of the solar system on his arm.

Josh’s favorite Optitex product is our o/cloud because he sees firsthand how it helps clients to streamline their workflow and make better products for their customers.

Josh ScottSr. Manager, Professional & Business Services

J Shin is a Technical Account Manager who is a bridge between customers in Korea and Optitex locations. Based out of Seoul, Republic of Korea/ South Korea he joined the Optiex team in January of 2017 with experience as an Optitex user with the unique perspective of a vendor. He works as a bridge between APAC vendor companies and the Optitex offices.

J Shin studied Apparel Design Techniques at Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo, Japan. He speaks Korean, Japanese and English. Before joining Optitex J Shin worked as an Optitex 3D Specialist at an apparel vendor company in South Korea for 2 years. He worked closely with 2 major US based brands to support and convey each company’s vision into 3D for the apparel industry. After joining Optitex he has seen more clearly that Optitex has a unique strength in the industry and he is very proud of the Optitex

J Shin’s favorite Optitex tool is 3D Digitizer which is a useful tool to mark some fit issues like gaping and hiking in 3D before adjusting the pattern. It makes it look like you are doing something very cool.

Lauren Ahr Sr. Professional Services Consultant

Lauren Ahr is a Sr. Professional Services Consultant who works directly with enterprise accounts giving them demos, training and support. Based out of the New York City office, she joined EFI Optitex in November 2011, bringing the skills as an Optitex user with her.

Lauren studied Fashion Design with a focus in pattern making at Philadelphia University then worked at a local business which created custom dance and ice skating costumes creating patterns using Optitex. Lauren loves to go to the beach in the summer and go skiing in the winter. In her spare time Lauren freelances at a local theater in the costume shop.

Lauren’s favorite Optitex feature is the Measurement Chart because it makes it really easy to measure and confirm specs on a pattern.

May Wai ChanTechnical Services Specialist

Chan Wai May is a Technical Services Specialist working in pre-sales, training, support and pilots. Based out of the EFI Optitex Hong Kong office, she has been working at Optitex since June of 2016 coming from another 2D CAD company May has extensive experience with CAD.

May studied at the Garment Technical Institute. Before joining Optitex she worked for over 15 years at a 2D CAD company as a Product Manager. May believes in working hard and playing hard and enjoys life and travel around the world.

May’s favorite Optitex product is 2D and 3D together. She likes fashion design and will design and make things for herself.

Meyrav Lavi is a Professional Services Consultant who focuses on all the needs of specific enterprise accounts. Based out of the EFI Optitex office in Israel, she joined the team in August of 2017 with background knowledge in technical design and is looking forward to learning new skills using Optitex.

Meyvan studied Fashion Design and Pattern Design at Shenkar College and Aschola College, she speaks both Hebrew and English. Meyvan worked for over 10 years as a Fashion Designer creating women’s high-end evening clothes. Meyvan has also taught fashion at the College of Management and has served as a fashion examiner on behalf of the Israeli Ministry of Industry in training centers. Her favorite thing is cooking, she likes to put sesame seeds of everything, her husband says that if there is no sesame in the kitchen she does not know how to cook. Meyvan is still getting to know all of the Optitex products, first impressions are that she loves them all but can see that PDS is the most necessary as it is the core of all the Optitex Products.

Mike Cheng Professional Services Consultant

Mike Cheng is a Professional Services Consultant who does pre- sales and post- sales work with all Optitex products. Based out of the EFI Optitex Hong Kong office he joined Optitex in September 2016 with garment construction knowledge working in Quality Assurance.

Mike speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English, he studied Fashion Design at FIDM in Los Angeles and at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Post-graduation he worked for 3 years as a Junior Technician under the Quality Assurance department. His responsivities were to adjust patterns based on customer’s comments, examine fit as well as the quality of the samples being created. He likes sports, climbing, yoga and weight lifting especially in a group that keeps him motivated. In his spare time, he likes to stay at home and blast the top40, he is trying to be a vegetarian as well.

Mike’s favorite Optitex product is the o/cloud solution because it provides instant comment and instant viewing feature on 3D under an internet browser without having to use the software.

Nava Topaz Mizrahi is a Technical Services Specialist in the pre- sales area. Based out of the EFI Optitex Israel office, she joined Optitex in 2015 with garment construction and design experience.

Nava speaks Hebrew, English and a little French and has a Fashion Design degree as well as a pattern making course diploma. She worked for 5 years prior to joining Optitex as a Head of Design at a fashion company. Her favorite activities all kinds of sports, especially Pilates. Both at work and at home Nava is very social and must be around happy people who she can laugh with.

Nava’s favorite Optitex products are the 2D and 3D. She really likes the whole flow between creating a pattern in 2D, stitching it for 3D simulation and placing textures and other design details.
