Recent Press ReleaseMCDONALDS WANTS TO BETTER THE HEALTH OF THE

PEOPLE

OAK BROOK, ILL, July 2011 - Due to the recent concerns over certain meats, McDonalds has chosen to take immediate action to create a new awareness for establishing a healthier nutritional value for the future health of the consumers. Through much research Mcdonald’s has created new and better nutritional valuable items on the updated menu. This will allow the consumers to have a healthier view when contemplating healthier choices. By offering the consumers better understanding of the healthier choices made in the purchasing of our goods, this allows the consumers to not only be able to comparing and contrasting our items to that of other fast-food restaurants, but to establish which is the healthier choice.

Attack Celebrity Chef -Jamie Oliver “The use of treated scrap meat to me as a chef and a food lover is shocking,” Oliver said. “Basically we’re taking a product that would be sold in the cheapest form for dogs and making it ‘fit’ for humans.”

McDonald’s denies that Oliver’s show had anything to do with discontinuing the use of ammonium hydroxide — “an ingredient in fertilizers, household cleaners and some roll-your-own explosives” — in its otherwise inedible scrap meat masquerading as McDonald’s hamburger

What is Pink Slime = Lean Meat

FDA Approved for over 20yrs

The low-grade trimmings come from the parts of the cow most susceptible to contaminaton, often close to the hide, which is highly exposed to fecal matter. But

because of BPI’s treatment of the trimmings — simmering them in low heat, separating fat and tissue using a centrifuge and spraying them with ammonia gas

to kill germs — the United States Department of Agriculture says it’s safe to eat.

Facts about our BEEF.

What is the binding ingredient used in making the beef patties? We don’t use any binding ingredients. Our burger patties are made from 100% pure beef, with no binders or fillers

If your meat is of such high quality, why is it so cheap?

At McDonald’s, because we serve so many people each day, we are able to buy in bulk and then pass along the value to you. This enables us to offer our customers the best prices on the freshest, highest quality products.

Is your meat real or fake?Despite all those myths out there,

none of our meat is fake! McDonald’s uses only 100% USDA-inspected beef

from real beef cattle to make our burger patties. Our chicken is 100%

USDA-inspected real chicken, supplied by industry leaders like Tyson Foods and Keystone Foods,

and the same high standards apply to our 100% pork.

Is your beef frozen or fresh? Our beef patties are frozen instantly,

after the beef has been ground, to make sure the very best quality and flavor is preserved. They are then transported in sealed, refrigerated

trucks. To learn more, watch our beef video at Meet Our Suppliers.

How did we address this issue?Due to the recent concerns for the future health of the consumers, McDonald’s has chosen to take into consideration creating a new awareness for establishing a healthier nutritional value for consumers by creating new and researching better nutritional value purchases for older items on the menu. This allows the consumers to have a healthier experience and view when thinking of the items on the menu when visiting a McDonalds. By offering a better understanding of the healthier choices made in the purchasing of goods the consumers can comparing and contrasting out restaurant to other fast-food restaurants to establish which is the healthier choice.
