This season the Club has focused on giving our coaches the opportunity to continue to gain knowledge in order to ensure our kids are always learning new skills and progressing. Most of our coaches attended at least one coaching session this season; whether it was a course with Basketball Victoria for new coaches & beginners, Level 1 for more advanced or listening to well known & experienced coaches speak. Our internal coaches course held by one of our own experienced coaches Rod Wealands was a great success with very practical information, drills and skills that we all have no doubt used in our own training sessions. Beacy Bandits will continue to offer these courses next season and beyond as there is always something to learn and it's a priority for our club to keep current in our loved sport of Basketball.
