STUDIO MANAGER - HOTEL CHOCOLAT, LONDON & HERTFORDSHIRE (02/15 - 09/16)

Studio Manager at luxury chocolatier Hotel Chocolat. I was tasked with setting up and installing new processes to assist the organisation with workflow, scheduling and time management. In conjunction with the different internal departments I provided a schedule system that is visible throughout the organisation to create a collaborative and open culture through communication. Through Smartsheets and Microsoft Excel, a job bag / job number system and weekly production meetings were introduced to track the progress of projects and gain vital knowledge of workflow through the design department. Mentoring and leading a multi-disciplined team of creatives to continue to achieve amazing solutions for the award winning international retailer.

STUDIO MANAGER/CREATIVE CONSULTANT - MEDIA AGENCY GROUP, MANCHESTER (06/14 - 09/14)

At Media Agency Group I was instrumental in introducing a brand new traffic workflow system for time management and resource for each studio project. Including budget setting and tracking. Full weekly scheduling and studio timesheets were introduced into the brand new creative studio offering. Together with the Creative Lead, I was responsible for setting up a new Graduate Programme with Salford University.

STUDIO MANAGER/SENIOR DESIGNER - KENYON FRASER, LIVERPOOL (12/12 - 06/14)

I was brought into Kenyon Fraser to set up a structure to ensure work was completed on time and on budget. A workflow, job bag and schedule system was re-introduced for the whole organisation. In conjunction with the newly appointed Operations Manager I made sure the job bag / job number system was strictly adhered to by all internal stakeholders to maximise the value in each project. Due to the fluid nature of the agency we set up daily operations meetings to keep all appropriate members of staff up to date with the schedule and to manage any changes and challenges that may arise. I was also responsible for creative and art direction on projects including branding, marketing campaigns, digital projects and video.

STUDIO MANAGER/SENIOR DESIGNER - CREATIVE GRAPHICS, WEST YORKSHIRE(01/10 - 12/12) After a brief freelancing assignment I was offered a full-time role, eventually becoming Studio Manager / Senior Designer, looking after a small team of Graphic Designers and Web Developers. I brought in a tailored, basic scheduling programme for the studio that was visible throughout the company. I was also instrumental at introducing the weekly production meetings that were attended by all internal stakeholders. I was the Lead Creative and Art Director on print and web projects. The nature of the business also meant managing accounts for high profile clients as well as being a hands-on Graphic Designer.
