DESCRIPTION
Mit dem durch diesen Vortrag vorgestellten Modell des Projekt-Polygon können sie zukünftig die Komplexität eines Projektes identifizieren und das Risikoprofil entsprechend darstellen, denn das Risiko eines Projektes leitet sich unter anderem aus dessen Komplexität ab.Was kann man unter Komplexität verstehen? Eine Definition von Komplexität ist „die Eigenschaft eines Systems oder eines Modells, dass in sein Gesamtverhalten nicht beschrieben werden kann, selbst wenn man vollständige Informationen über seine Einzelkomponenten und ihre Wechselwirkungen besitzt.“ Folgt man nun dieser Definition so ergibt sich daraus dass, je komplexer ein Projekt ist, desto höher ist das Risiko das durch die zuvor genannten Wechselwirkungen und die noch zusätzlich auftretenden unvollständigen Detailinformationen eines der drei Projektziele- Lieferung zur vereinbarten Zeit- Lieferung in der vereinbarten Qualität- Lieferung zu den vereinbarten Kostennicht erreicht werden. Im schlimmsten Fall kann keines der drei Kernziele des Projektes eingehalten werden.Das Modell des Projekt-Polygon kann Sie bei der Erreichung der Kernziele des Projektes unterstützen in dem es Ihnen durch das ermittelte Risikoprofil eine neue Sichtweise auf das geplante Projekt bietet. Ebenso liefert das Modell konkrete Maßnahmen im Hinblick auf die Projektmanagement-Disziplinen, die das Eintreten von Risiken vermeiden, denn anhand der identifizierten Ausprägungen auf den Achsen des Projekt-Polygons können Sie darüber hinaus weitere aktive Maßnahmen in Bezug auf das Projektmanagement festlegen und einleiten.Bezüglich der Risikobewertung und der daraus folgenden Entscheidungen und Maßnahmen in Bezug auf das Projekt und das Projektmanagement wurden fünf wesentliche Einflussfaktoren identifiziert: die Prozesserfahrung der Organisation (Erfahrung), das Maß der durch das Projekt herbeigeführten Veränderung (Veränderung), die Durchdringungstiefe in Organisation und Kundenbeziehung (Orientierung), die Anzahl der einzuführenden Prozesse (Umsetzungsansatz) und die zur Verfügung stehende Umsetzungszeit (Zeit).Je nach Ausprägung der Einflussfaktoren sind spezielle Maßnahmen zur Risikominimierung anzuwenden – unterschiedliche Kommunikationsstrategien, unterschiedliche Ausprägungen des Scope Managements, des Qualitätsmanagements oder der Kostenkontrolle –, denn die jeweiligen Ausprägungen einer Dimension haben verschiedene kritische Erfolgsfaktoren, die wiederum wesentlich sind für eine erfolgreiche Umsetzung und deshalb den Erfolg des gesamten Projekts.Neben der Theorie sowie verschiedenen Praxisbeispielen wird ein Excelworkbook vorgestellt welches die Nutzung des Models im konkreten Projektumfeld ermöglicht.TRANSCRIPT
