(NAPSI)—Perhaps one of the best-kept secrets for staying happy and efficient at your job may be what you do outside office walls. Why To VacationAccording to new research by the Society for Human Resource Management, employ-ees who take regular vacations enjoy greater productivity, increased job satisfac-tion and higher organizational morale than those who don’t.
Despite such studies, not all working Americans have a positive attitude about taking a vacation. In fact, 61 percent of organizations report that their employees leave behind three or more unused vacation days a year. Taking full advantage of earned time off-as well as completely “unplugging” while away—may seem an odd way to get ahead but it can be a great gift to your employer and yourself. What You Should KnowOne thing that may help you get yourself that gift is a vacation ownership. Here are three reasons:
1. Your vacation is paid for in advance. Because of the prepaid nature of a timeshare, you never have to think about finding or funding accommodations throughout the length of your trip. You can cost effectively enjoy vacation lodging every year for the rest of your life without the burden of paying increasingly more for your stay, as you would for hotel rates, which continue to rise.2. You’re guaranteed consistent time away. Owning a timeshare can instill in you the discipline of taking time away, at least once a year, from hectic work schedules to relax and recharge in high-quality accommodations. Plus, if you partner with a timeshare exchange company, you can swap out your stay at your “home” resort for one in a new destination.3. Time away and together is healthy for the entire family. Beyond the individual benefits of coming back to the office more motivated, creative and innovative, family and friends can share in the excitement, closeness and health benefits of regular rest and reprieve. Many timeshare companies let you pass timeshare investments through generations, so your children can inherit and enjoy your timeshare for many more years.Travelers who value variety often choose vacation exchange companies such as RCI, which has been delivering dream vacations for 40 years, because of its expansive portfolio of more than 4,000 affiliated resorts.Where To Sample A StayThose considering vacation ownership can try the timeshare experience firsthand before they purchase by booking a stay through Endless Vacation Rentals at www.evrentals.com.

Potatoes, Eggs &Coffee Beans
nce upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of ghting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem
was solved, another one soon followed.
Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He lled three pots with water and placed each on a high re. Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot, and ground coee beans in the third pot.
He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing.
After twenty minutes he turned o the burners. He took the
potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl.
He then ladled the coee out and placed it in a cup. Turning to her he asked. “Daughter, what do you see?”
“Potatoes, eggs, and coee,” she hastily replied.
“Look closer,” he said, “and touch the potatoes.” She did and noted that they were soft. He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling o the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, he asked her to sip the coee. Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face.
“Father, what does this mean?” she asked.
He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coee beans had each faced the same adversity– the boiling water.
However, each one reacted dierently.
The potato went in strong, hard, and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak.
The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. Then the inside of the egg became hard.
However, the ground coee beans were unique. After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.
“Which are you,” he asked his daughter. “When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coee bean? “
Moral: In life, things happen around us, things happen to us, but the only thing that truly matters is what happens within us.
Which one are you?

1. Cut out the Leprechaun and its pieces. On the main character piece, make folds (away from you) along the dotted lines, including the tabs. Fold the legs toward you and the knees away from you. Glue tab A to the back side of the Leprechaun’s back. The character should be taking shape.
2. Put glue on the eight small tabs (four per side) that are located on the sides of the top of the Leprechaun’s head. Then glue them to the back side of the Leprechaun’s head. Make sure you hold each one in place for a few seconds before you move on. Next, glue tab B to the back of the side of the Leprechaun’s head.
3. Cut out the arms. Keep them connected in the middle and fold it in half. Bend the tabs toward you, and then glue the back sides of the arm (leaving glue o the tabs) together. Be sure to not glue the tabs to each other. Once the arms are dry, put glue on the open tabs and glue the arms to each side of the Leprechaun. The arm with the pot of gold should be glued in the position of the left arm and the other arm should be glued into the position of the right arm.

4. Cut out the Leprechaun’s hat. Keep the hat connected in the middle when you cut it out, and then fold them in half. Fold each tab toward you, then glue the back sides of the hat (don’t put glue on the tabs yet) together. Be sure not to glue the tabs to each other. Next, put glue on the back side of the open tabs. Glue the hat to the top of the Leprechaun’s head. Your Leprechaun Character is now complete! Place him on the edge of a shelf or table, or give him as a gift!

Spring cleaning is in the forefront of everyone's mind, Spring is the best time to check on important items around your home to insure your comfort and avoid unexpected expenses as the warmer weather approaches!Check on Operation of HVAC, Cooling systems need maintenance periodically, possibly replacement may be needed with a more Energy Efficient Unit, resulting in a cooler home and lower power bills this summer.
Check on functionality of Gutters, missing, clogged and or leaky gutters can lead to large repair bills later on, replacement of gutters is a fraction of the price of new siding, doors, or landscaping.
Check Roofing, cold temps can have a devestating effect on some roofing, consider having a new, shingle or metal roof installed.
Have a qualified consultant check the insulation in your attic, R24 and higher insulation is available to keep the hot summer on the outside and your cooling on the inside to keep you comfortable, all summer long.
Verify Fencing and Decking is in top condition, railing, decks and fencing can deteriorate over time, consider a local consultant for a quote on any new or replacement exterior enchancements to your home.
Upgrading and Updating windows and doors in your home can be a very cost efficient method of lowering your monthly power bill, over time the reduction in the monthly power bills will pay for any desired upgrade to energy efficient windows and doors in your home.
Your Home is YOUR Castle, periodic inspection and updating of worn out or dated roofing, windows, doors, HVAC unit, fencing, decking, and the addition of gutters where non-functional, or missing gutters may have been is critical to the well being of your home and you, and your family's comfort.

Start Taking Advantageof Using QR Codes
What are QR codes? This is a QR code.
Those funny-looking square designs have been popping up everywhere recently and there’s a good chance you’ve seen them around in maga-zines, on direct mail pieces or in stores
They are computer generated images that are used as a shortcut to connect customers directly with websites or online resources without having to type a URL into an internet browser. When you see one, you can scan it with your smartphone and it will connect your mobile browser directly with the intended online location.
Why the heck would I want to use QR codes?
online—whether it’s an email newsletter, social media, local deals, or event registration—aren’t
convenient way to drive results for those activities? QR codes can help you do just that!
you’re using them the right way
When it comes to using QR codes at your place
wrong way to do things.
The right way, is to place them in a convenient location where people can take the time to scan them, visit the site they are directed to, and take the intended action. The wrong way, is to plaster
or promotional content without any clear goal of why you’re doing it.
QR codes help you turn new customers into email subscribers (and help you build your list!)
Whether you end up using QR codes or not-you should be providing a way for everyone
up for your email newsletter.
For new customers, this is an opportunity for them to stay connected and learn more about your business. For you, it’s a way to continue your relationship after they walk out the door and improves the likelihood they will come back in the future.
QR codes can help you promote your local deal to the people who’ll love it the most
What better place to promote a local deal then right there in your place of business? Using a QR code to connect people with your deal will improve your chances of turning them into repeat customers and get them talking about your business.
Finding a new business they love AND getting a great deal in the process—now that’s some-thing people will tell their friends about.

A teacher wanted to teach her students about self-esteem, so she asked anyone who thought they were stupid to
stand up. One kid stood up and the teacher was surprised.
She didn’t think anyone would stand up so she asked him, “Why did you stand up?” He answered,
“I didn’t want to leave you standing up by yourself.”

Ingredients:
1/2 egg per cup a little heavy cream (or milk) grated cheese onions and peppers, diced small a small pat of butter a couple of young green onions ham slices, a little thick salt and pepper to taste
Method:
"Saute" the onions by adding a bit of butter to frozen onions/peppers microwaving for 2 minutes. Spray muffin tin cups with non-stick cooking spray and line each with a slice of ham. Add the cooked onions/peppers, then sprinkle in some shredded cheese. Pour in the egg mixture (eggs, cream, salt and pepper) and beat well with a fork. Chop a small green onion top and divide onto each. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.
Ham CupsWell, it's a little hard to say, because you could add any ingredients under the sun to these. But basically, I allowed about 1/2 egg per cup.
