• The milling machine operator works on a 4 or 5-axis computer numerical control (CNC) machining center with integrated pallet changer. The operator sets up, adjusts and operates the machines to produce a workpiece according to a program and instructions, ensuring geometric accuracy and quality compliance. Once finished, each workpiece is inspected for defects, which must be reported by the milling machine operator.

• You would also be required to perform basic maintenance on milling machines.

• You will also contribute to cost reduction and quality improvement efforts.

You are required to comply with safety regulations.

• Your role on the operational side calls for creativity and imagination and a thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental issues.

• You must have good teamworking skills and be able to take on responsibility and work unsupervised. Milling machine operators must be willing to do a variety of tasks.
