Our Future Hope ministry team held a Christmas program at the school where many of the needy children that we help attend. We partnered with two local Chinese ch urches that provided a band and gifts for all the children. When the band began to sing modern Christian songs, the children all started dancing and singing. It was a Holy Ghost mosh-pit like I have never seen before. It was amazing to see such joy and hope in their faces.

CHRISTMAS IN CHINA

FUTURE HOPE COMMUNITY We have established a presence in a poor part of our city by opening a community center. Our team and other volunteers conduct after-school

programs and a Saturday program. Activities include games, storytelling, songs, reading, dance classes and helping with homework.

One of our main focuses is to create awareness that each child is unique and created to do something wonderful with their lives. This is a

very foreign concept in this community where the major focus is on survival, with little hope

of achieving anything of significance with their lives.

OBJECTIVE

DAY OF BLESSING

Our objective for these programs is to bring about community transformation by children realising they were created for a wonderful purpose, their coming to know Christ as saviour, and by being a positive influence in their homes, school and community. We are also reaching out to the parents of these families in order to see whole families come to Christ and

be salt and light in their community. We endeavor by God’s grace to give these children and families a future with a hope.

We also held a Christmas program at the community centre where every child received a stocking full of goodies. Over 70 children were blessed by these gifts. Thank you to all those who contributed to this ‘Day of Blessing’.

YOUTH CONCERT NEWSWe are excited about the wonderful opportunities for holding youth concerts in different parts of China this year. We believe that God has given us a promise and a mandate, “I will give you every place where you set your foot” Joshua 1:3. We have recently experienced great favour with university leaders in a very strategic city in China. We have been trying to crack this city for several years now without success. However, doors have now been flung wide open. Must be God’s timing!

KINGDOM PERSPECTIVES

PRAY WITH US

Future Hope Sponsorship Program: We start a new semester in February and are in need of funds to

continue to help the families pay the tuition for the children who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend

school.

Future Hope Community Centre: We want to expand our reach, increase our impact, and draw children and their parents to Jesus. We want to dispel fear and inspire

freedom and openness.

Youth Concerts: We will be conducting concerts in March, April and June in the first half of this year. Pray for favour with authorities, positive response from the young

people who attend, and great influence in the areas where we minister, “I will give you every place where

you set your foot’.

Ross has produced a five message series on a USB flash drive called ‘Kingdom Perspectives’.

They are available for $20 each.
