The photography for The Libertines is the same as for the digipak cover . It’s very natural, realistic with added contrast and the same fonts. The only bit where its different is the bit at the bottom where it says ‘out now’ and some information on what it contains.

Some adverts have either the date of release, ‘out now’ or ‘in store now’. As we can see that Oasis’ album advert has the release date along with the name and the album title. Their advert image is different from their music album cover even though is with the same use of theme but completely different.

This is another indie band, the Arctic Monkeys which we see their poster and album are quite the same apart from the band name which in the album cover it’s in a small font and top far left from the cover.

The only thing that the Arctic Monkeys have included in the advert is the date and the title of their singles.

The magazine advert is always the same as the album cover as we can see here, no difference from The Libertines’ album to the advert except at the bottom of the advert, it has a bit of information and when it’s available.
