The practice ramps up next week with plans to move to the undercover area to give the students a better awareness of the size of the stage. Please ensure children have coats or warm clothes at school next week because of the outdoor practice sessions. Costumes and props will be introduced to the practice sessions as the big night approaches. We continue to be appreciative to the concert team with their prop making and their costume design and production. Ticket sales have been steady. Sales are on before and after school each day of the week. Early next term, the schools Halloween fair will be held. Of the afternoon of October 27, stall hold- ers from the school and the public will be setting up for an afternoon and evening of fun and food. Public stall holders from the past are being contacted to see whether they would like to participate again and new stall holders are being sought. Your help would be appreciated with this early Fair task by spreading the word to potential stall holders. A flier is attached to todays newsletter to pop on your fridge as a reminder. Additional fliers are available from school should you be visiting other markets oved the next few weeks and you would be willing to canvas stall holders at other venues. We find the atmosphere and enjoyment of the Fair is enhanced with greater numbers of stalls. Other things regarding the Fair to be considering is perhaps after a spring clean, there may be household items and books that you may no longer need that would be good to donate to the school for the Trash and Treasure stall and Book Stall. We will send out further ways to be involved in the fair in the com- ing weeks. Our Schools Swimming Program starts in week three of next term. The seven week program at the Federation University Pool will be each Friday afternoon (with the exception of Friday November 10 which is Ballarat show Day – in this week it will be on Thursday November 9) for sessions of 45 minutes. The program has a focus on water awareness and water safety and comprises an important part of the schools Sports curriculum Its all happening! Have a great weekend.
