First Contact

Upon arrival in Sao Paulo you will be met on the jet-bridge by Haroldo holding a Dehouche sign, he will drive you to the domestic

terminal, stopping off en route at an airport lounge for a quick shower and a champagne breakfast. And so your holiday begins…




Day 1 Arrive Sao Paulo. Flight: Sao Paulo (GRU) – Porto Seguro (BPS).

Eduardo will be waiting in arrivals to transfer you by Land Rover for the 45 minute drive through the tropical Bahian

countryside, over a river by local ferry and along dirt roads to the charming village of Trancoso, located next to a warm sea and

palm-fringed beaches that extend to the horizon.

Day 5 Eduardo will return in his Land Rover to bring you back along the coast to the airport.

In Trancoso you’ll find a mix of the Brazilian Glitterati and ‘in the

know’ international travelers (as well as the relaxed and friendly

locals) who come for the unique atmosphere and stunning location.

As a result you’ll find a range of top quality restaurants, boutique

shops and a great social scene while the village still maintains the

laid back, unassuming and quintessentially Brazilian warmth that

draws people to this rustic part of Brazil.

There will be a beach buggy waiting for you in the car park allowing

you to explore dirt roads that lead to villages further down the coast

where you can see more of the genuine coastal Brazilian life and find

some excellent restaurants in secluded bays selling fresh seafood.

You stay in a private resort of just 5 chalets set in beautiful gardens

running straight down to the beach, you have the best, a luxurious

wo-storey chalet with jacuzzi and a veranda that looks out across the

sea. This is one of the best rooms in Brazil. The resort provides a

wealth of services to help you to relax including kayaking, horse

riding, tennis, and massages whilst adjoining the hotel is South America’s only PGA standard golf course. The hotel restaurant is

excellent, run by a specially imported European chef.

Day 5 Flight: Porto Seguro (BPS) – Maceio (MCZ)

Luxury off the beaten track in Alagoas 4 nights

The small state of Alagoas has perhaps the most beautiful

coastline of all Brazil, with mile upon mile of unspoilt deserted

beaches. This is where you can truly kick back, relax and enjoy

he easy-going, Brazilian pace of life.

The sea here is warm and crystal clear and the reefs form many

natural swimming pools for you to explore as the tide goes down.

Or perhaps you’d simply like to relax with a drink on the

paradisiacal beach just a few steps away from your villa.




Day 9 Luxury private transfer to the airport.

Your luxurious hotel focuses on privacy aligned with exquisite

service. You will stay in a villa which boasts its own heated

infinity-edged plunge pool, a traditional Japanese ofuro tub made

of fragrant hand-planed cedar wood and an outside deck in a

private garden.

If you want a distraction from the miles of deserted beaches then

he hotel has a spa and a gym, as well as a superb restaurant and

a wine bar.

When it comes to getting away from it all on an unspoilt beach,

whilst still enjoying creature comforts, then this hotel is the

Day 9 Flight: Maceio (MCZ) - Natal (NAT)

In Natal airport your driver will be waiting for you in arrivals, ready to bring you by Land Rover to your hotel in the charming

village of Praia da Pipa.

Luxurious Chalet in Praia da Pipa 4 nights

A unique location in Brazil, the small fishing village of Pipa

perches on cliffs overlooking some of Brazil’s most beautiful

beaches. The warm tropical sea here is frequented by turtles and

dolphins. A mixture of dramatic cliff faces and giant sand dunes,

his is a fascinating coastline to explore. The water is warm and

crystalline and there are many natural swimming pools formed in

he reef as the tide goes out.

In the village there are some excellent eateries hidden away for

hose in the know – we will ensure you are. We can organiseanything from scuba diving to visiting natural swimming pools

ormed in the reef, perhaps kite surfing lessons and even dune

surfing and off road driving. Another option is deep sea fishing off

he coast of Natal.

Didier will call to arrange a time for a very special tour of the area.

Boarding his catamaran he will take you through the bay of

dolphins (stopping to swim and snorkel if you want) or walk on the

deserted beaches before rounding the cape into a mangrove-lined

lagoon where you stop for fresh oysters at a rustic waterside bar

with local fishermen, before heading for a wonderful seafoodlunch cooked by Momo and Lucia, and ending at a beautiful spot

o watch the sunset.




Day 13 From midday your driver will let you know he is waiting with the Land Rover by reception to bring you to the airport in time for

your connecting flight. Flight: Natal (NAT) – Sao Paulo (GRU). Depart GRU.

Set just to the side of the village in a large area of private gardens

and rainforest, you stay in one of the best rooms in Brazil, a vast

luxury chalet built in the style of an opulent colonial residence

encircled by a pleasantly shaded veranda and decorated with

antique furniture and period pieces. More modern luxuries are

seamlessly integrated, the semi-open shower-room (with double

waterfall showers) leads onto a hidden veranda at the back of the

chalet with an outdoor Jacuzzi (incorporated into a free standing

old fashioned bath tub).

Walkways guide you through the beautiful gardens to 2 large

ionised swimming pools. The abundance of trees amongst the

well designed grounds meaning that you always feel a great deal

of privacy, though friendly and well trained staff are never far

away should you need refreshments. Breakfasts are a special

reat with a great selection of fruits, freshly baked breads, cakes

and tasty local dishes cooked to order. The restaurant and pool

bar offer great food (some of the best in the village) with some

interesting modern takes on local dishes.
