Lower Carbon Footprint – The Use of High Strength Structural Steels Reduces the Carbon Footprint: Prefabricated Modular Steel Buildings have a low carbon footprint due to reasons such as being pre-designed, construction in a shorter time and shorter equipment operating times. All materials used are recyclable and create less waste.

Dorce Prefabricated Building and Construction Industry Trade Inc. became the First Company in its Sector to Obtain ISO 14064 Carbon Footprint Declaration Certificate in Turkey.

There are 5 key components to our Zero carbon strategy:

• Design; our Zero Carbon Strategy starts from the design of the product to find out key solutions.

• Materials; throughout the design policy, less carbon footprinted material consuption is targeted.

• Labour; raising the awareness of Zero Carbon Policy in our workforce by continuous training and

education programs.

• Process; developing an investment plan on machinary and equipment to reduce the carbon emission;

such as using electrical forklifts, solar power (PV) projects in our production plant.

• Continuous Improvement; Zero Carbon Policy is a dynamic and long term strategy which needs

consistent assessment and improvement through the process.
