• The increasing mobility of European citizens has led to a large number of pupils living and studying abroad.
• Mobility is not only about leaving, but also about
coming back • Pupils living (temporarily) abroad have a need for continued 'homeland specific' studies in their native languages.
Experience
• City of Riga: experience with returning pupils,
• Miksike: delivering on-line Estonian language lessons to expatriate Estonians (families from the Estonian Ministry of Defence and Foreign Affairs who are on long term foreign missions).

All PUMO partners have extensive experience in developing and providing online lessons and exercises that can be accessed remotely (PE, SE/High Schools, HE).
PUMO Taget Groups • economic migrants • families who are sent on fixed term missions
abroad (diplomats, military personnel, skilled engineers, managers and other highly qualified individuals).
• Executive summary in one sentence: PUMO will offer solutions for families living (temporarily) abroad in situations where there are no schools in the mother tongue.
