Hog Roast

Sunday, September 30th 4:30pm

This year’s hog roast will include outdoor activities

for children and others of all ages (including volley-

ball), a hayrack ride, and it is all wrapped up in a

beautiful outdoor setting. You may even just sit and

enjoy the fellowship outdoors.

Bring a dish to share; hog, baked beans, table service

and beverage will be provided. You may also bring a

favorite outdoor family game. Please bring lawn

chairs for you and your family.

The Hog Roast will be held at the country home of Chris & Shonda Dyer: 28531 Montrose Drive.

In case of rain, this event will be held at the Church.

Adult Bible Study Groups Fall 2018

25 Years of Operation Christmas Child

Samaritan’s Purse project, Operation Christmas Child, began in 1993. Through this

program Samaritan’s Purse will collect shoebox gifts filled with fun toys, school

supplies and hygiene items, and delivers them to children in need around the world

to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way. For many of these children, the gift-

filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received.

In 2017, more than 11 million shoebox gifts were collected worldwide, with more

than 8.8 million collected in the U.S. Let’s help make this 25th year the best year

ever! National Collection Week is November 12-19, 2018.
