“Life comes at
Help them find their pace.”
SPONSORSHIP PACKET 2018
Dear Friends,Girls on the Run Utah is on a mission to empower girls and give them the tools they need to become leaders. Our non-profit provides a fun, supportive and positive avenue to grow their mental and physical health.
The 2018 program will run from March 12-June 2, 2018 and reach over 1900 girls (age 8-14) on 150 teams in 8 Utah counties. In addition, 500 coaches will mentor our girls, contributing over 38,000 volunteer hours. The 3-month program will culminate with a celebratory 5K race at Sugar House Park. This is truly an inspirational event with over 6,000 racers and spectators coming together in support of the community and all of the girl’s hard work. This year we are also hosting a Girls on the Run Utah Summer Camp that will be an inspirational and condensed version of the 12-week program.
Our local girls need your support. As demand for our program increases, so do our funding needs. We never turn a girl away because of inability to pay for the program. 50% of the girls in our program have a household income below the poverty level and depend upon the support from donors like yourselves.
Join us as we strive to positively impact the lives of girls right in our own backyard. Please unite with us in raising over $450,000 to meet our 2018 scholarship and program needs.
We can’t run without you!
Heidi Moreton, Executive Director, Girls on the Run Utah
