Any stores greatest wish is to always have cus- tomers in it at all times; however as we all know that is not exactly the case. Especially lately, we’ve had more down time than initially ex- pected. It is important to stay busy, there is always something to do to im- prove the Pro Shop. When there are no cus- tomers in the store use the time wisely to fold shirts, clean, and improve the overall appearance of the store. However, when a cus- tomer is in the Pro Shop it’s time to stop, drop and talk. It is very important that you great every single one of the guests that enter our store and make them feel welcome. Do not just say “Hi wel- come to the Pro Shop” be so- cial with them and figure out what brought them into our store today, what they are looking for, what they are do- ing in Cleveland… the list could go on and on. It is im- portant to acknowledge the guest to enhance customer service, increase sales, and de- crease theft.
