Probate Executor Assistance

The honor of being named ‘Executor of the Estate’ carries with it many responsibilities.

For those experiencing grief and loss, this court-assigned duty is a monumental task. In addition to handling paper work, telephone calls to financial institutions, brokerage firms, the probate attorney, accountants, creditors, etc., potential disputes among family members and/or heirs create even more stress.

Hand-in-Hand, I will assist the Executor, Executrix and/or representative of the Estate complete the required duties.

During this sorrowful time, Laurie Friefeld, offers “In-Home” Additional Support Services for loved ones who wish continuous help handling the mundane tasks of everyday life.

These Personal Assistance Services may include handling ongoing correspondence with medical providers, insurance companies and financial institutions. I will accompany you to open new personal bank account(s); pay monthly bills; organize and/or re-organize household items, paperwork, wardrobes . . .

My Personal Assistance Services also include answering telephone calls, recording of gifts, donations, flowers, composing thank-you notes, arranging incoming meals and visitors, handling related correspondence and much more.

On a case-by-case basis, we will discuss your individual needs and agree upon the nature and cost of providing these Additional Support Services.

I lost my parents over 35 years ago. As they were divorced and in time, remarried, I found myself in the stressful position of rendering immediate, costly decisions. Neither had expressed final wishes and choices and there was no plan in place. I learned along the way.

Like countless others, my parents considered discussing End-of-Life Issues --- “superstitious and taboo”.

Traveling the journey of final goodbyes is difficult and sad. I would have welcomed an informed and compassionate individual, who, at my side, would have presented the direction I so needed. My combined years working in business administration and later employment for an Attorney, assisting clients through the process of probate, I soon realized a personal assistance and support service would ease the burden of those charged with making final decisions. This Booklet is a brief synopsis of my “In-Home” Personal Assistance and Support Services.

Prior to a timely or untimely event, I cannot stress the importance of discussing and creating your Personal Instruction Manual. The wishes and choices contained therein give those left behind a “step-by-step” roadmap to follow. The task of rendering last-moment decisions is now lifted. Grieving can begin.
