The Route
• We will be travelling from Saint-Malo to St-Pierre La Mer.
• We will be camping every night while we are there.
• The route is fairly flat allowing us to cycle at around 22mph, for 6-8 hours straight; but it is so well planned we hit hills over the last few days.

• We wanted a challenge• To raise money for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice• The Hospice needs to independently raise £4400 every day / £2.2million yearly
• They rely on over 350 volunteers and the generosity of everyone to fundraise the £2.2 million to provide for the care of over 800 people Island wide.
• Months of planning/training and the two week challenge itself, all so the Hospice can run for a day and a half.

• We hope to gain sponsorship from local companies and discounts from ferries etc all bring down the costs
• The budget suggests the challenge will cost £4000• We personally will be putting in money for the bikes
