About the KU Annual Conference
KU’s Annual Conference has been running for more than three decades and brings together professional decision makers in the early education sector. Delegates are open, socially conscious, dedicated and passionate influencers with a high degree of loyalty.
The majority of our audience return to the Annual Conference each year and interact with our professional learning team on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
Why 2018 is different
The 2018 KU Annual Conference ‘New Frontiers from Strong Foundations’ will focus on igniting a new level of excitement for teaching and learning that will propel educators toward “New Frontiers” of education with a sense of anticipation, courage and enthusiasm.
The 2018 Annual Conference will feature keynote speaker, Steve Sammartino, futurist and media commentator on emerging technology. We also have a featured speaker, Dr Michael Carr-Gregg, one of Australia’s
highest profile adolescent and child psychologists. The framework for the KU Annual Conference will be supported by a selection of renowned speakers with diverse areas of expertise and content knowledge.
This year, we will provide an experiential exhibition space with an open plan and interactive environment that will enable a higher level of audience engagement.

KU is a leading national advocate for early childhood education. We lead by example and support other early childhood services which aspire to provide similarly high standards.
KU’s outstanding professional learning program, which includes a wide variety of workshops, courses, network meetings and the Annual Conference, is highly regarded and respected within the early childhood profession.
