Parents’ Top Tip
May Bank Holiday Central government have moved the date of the first May bank holiday to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day. The school will now be closed on Friday 8th May. This is a change from the usual Monday. Buddy System Over the years we have observed the benefits of our older pupils supporting younger children. There are some lovely examples of real friendship and compassion. As a result, from September, Year 5 will become buddies for the Reception class. This role will continue into Year 1. In the interim, the new Year 6 will become buddies for Year 1. Earrings If you are considering having your child’s ears pierced then the beginning of the summer holidays is an ideal time. It means taking them out for PE is so much easier after the six week settling time. Spare PE Kit We welcome any spare items of PE Kit that your child has grown out of – we use it as spares when kit is forgotten.

Club News : Team Theme
The owners of the Team Theme Coaching Company have been to visit us to tell us that at present they are no longer able to provide this service on Tuesdays. This is partly due to our geographical position. We’ll stay in touch with TT as they will continue to look for slots for us on a termly basis. In the interim we are exploring alternative sporting opportunities.
