Charlie Manzoni Q.C., 39 essex ChambersAs a qualified Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, Charles worked in the international development department of a multi-national blue chip industrial company for five years before qualifying as a lawyer and entering private practice. Charles’s work involves mainly international litigation, arbitration and mediation across a broad spectrum of commercial work. He acts as counsel in the High Courts of London and Hong kong, in international and domestic arbitrations, acts as a mediator and conciliator in cross border disputes and regularly sits as a sole arbitrator or as part of a three man tribunal. Reza started his career in 1997 at a law firm in Indonesia and in 2005, he changed to work as a corporate counsel for procter & Gamble Indonesia and kraft Foods Indonesia prior to joining his current role at Microsoft Indonesia.

He obtained his law degree at Trisakti university, Indonesia and Master of Laws at Monash university, australia. He regularly speakers to fellow in-house counsels at local and international conferences. reza was admitted by peradi (Indonesia Bar association — persatuan advokat Indonesia) to practice Law in Indonesia in 2007 and was awarded as Indonesia In-House Lawyer of the Year 2015 by Asia Legal Business & Thomson reuters.

Kent Phillips, Partner, hogan Lovells Lee & Leekent has over 15 years’ experience as a dispute resolution lawyer, concentrating on international arbitration in both London and Singapore. kent has conducted arbitrations under leading institutional rules in most major seats, under both civil and common applicable laws. His extensive trial experience includes high value commercial disputes across a number of sectors and jurisdictions. His final years in London were spent leading disputes between high profile Russian oligarchs, with merits hearing of claims involving some uS$3bn. From Singapore he is routinely involved in disputes relating to services and infrastructure in the resources, energy and oil & gas sectors. His practice spans IP portfolio creation and management, marketing law and Ip disputes.

John Zadkovich, Counsel, Vinson & elkinJohn is a Counsel based in Vinson & Elkin’s Hong Kong office and is admitted in Western australia, Victoria (australia), Commonwealth of australia, england and Wales, Dubai International Financial Centre and Hong kong. His principal areas of practice are energy, oil and gas, natural resources, public international law, and finance.

John has acted as arbitration counsel and advocate in numerous international arbitrations, and has knowledge and experience of different legal systems, including asian, european, CIS, Middle eastern, african and australian. dr Madjedi hasan, MPe Mh FCbArb, bAnI Arbitration Center, IndonesiaMadjedi Hasan is a Master Consultant in pT pranata energi Nusantara, specializing in Indonesia’s energy business. He holds Master of petroleum engineering degree from university of Oklahoma, and Master and Doctor in Law from the university of padjadjaran, and has specialized in Indonesia’s petroleum and geothermal power projects.

In 1961 he served as a lecturer Institut Teknologi Bandung. Later in 1966, he joined PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia (largest oil producer in Indonesia) and held various key positions in the company in Indonesia and uSa. His position prior to retirement in1989 was Vice president Special projects. He has written a numerous articles for presentation in various seminars. also, he has published three books on Indonesia’s petroleum contracts. Since 2006 he is also a fellow charter arbitrator in Indonesia National arbitration Institute (Badan arbitrase Nasional Indonesia/BaNI) and serves as executive editor in BaNI’s Journal.
