There’s always one every Showcase. Off the top of our heads, the early Vienna reveal of 2008 and the Michael Khatkar Tie Incident of 2009definitely make our top ten Showcase memorable moments. However, 2010 brought with it a new favourite blooper.

The Showcase had kicked off in spectacular style with the amazingly talented dance group, Diversity. The young dancers were fantastic anddestined to be the talk of the day. Until Michael Khatkar got involved and now the Britain’s Got Talent winning act is remembered for somethingentirely different.

Once the whoops, whistles and cheers had died down, it was time for Michael Khatkar to take to the stage for the Big Launch. All top presentersneed a glamorous assistant and Ashley from Diversity took to the stage to help Michael launch the latest Kleeneze Destination – New York.

“Hi Kleeneze, my name is Ashley,” he announced. It seemed to pass Michael by though, who proceeded to call Ashley ‘Jordan’ throughout thesegment. By the time it came to launch the Destination, and after being called Jordan several times, young Ashley had obviously had enough.“ASHLEY’S going to press this button then,” he said in an attempt to alert Mr Khatkar.

The audience burst into laughter, Michael was hiding his face, ASHLEY was pressing the button and a new Showcase legend was born. Michael,Jordan and Ashley – we love you all.

From that point on the audience were fired up. The atmosphere in the NIA with the new layout was even more electric than ever, culminating inthe much anticipated Mini draw at the end of the day. If Saturday’s event was any indication of how the Kleeneze Christmas season is going togo, then get ready, because it’s going to be unbelievable!

10.09.10 Issue 35 ENTERPRIZE WEEKLY BULLETIN

There were some big announcements on Saturday, but the new carincentive announcement was huge!

Over the past few months, Kleeneze has been working on its incentivesto improve them and ensure they work as well as they can.

HITTING GOLD DISTRIBUTOR

“First off we’re going to enhance the Gold incentive by rewardingpeople who hold Gold for 6 consecutive periods with 10 Income Kits,”said Managing Director Jamie Stewart. “If they then continue tomaintain gold for up to a total of 10 out of 13 periods they will berewarded with a bonus of one thousand five hundred pounds. A 50%increase in the cash reward and over £300 pounds of catalogues tofurther increase your income.”

THE CAR INCENTIVES

The current Gold SED incentive is to hit Gold SED and hold for 3periods to then qualify for a 3 series BMW. (A Gold SED has 5 legs totheir business 2 are Gold legs and 3 are Bronze legs).

“We will now make this more achievable by rewarding anyone whonow hits the SED level which is 5 Gold distributors wide and thenholds for 10 periods out of 13 periods with a brand new BMW,”explained Jamie. “But instead of the current 5 door 3 series we’rechanging it to this streamlined 3 Series Coupe…but not just that wethought we’d give you a choice of the very sporty BMW Z4.

So by hitting the level of SED you’ll be earning in the region of fivethousand pounds a period, hold it for 10 periods you’ll have earned approximately fifty thousand pounds AND you’ll be given a brand new car.”

The current Gold Premier car incentive which rewards people for hitting this level and holding for 3 periods with a 5 series BMW. (A Gold Premierhas 5 legs to their business, 2 legs are Bronze Distributors and the other 3 are SED legs).

“From now on we’ll reward anyone getting to the Premier level, a business with 5 Bronze legs and holds it for 10 out of 13 periods with thisamazing brand new model 5 Series BMW or a stunning 3 Series Convertible.”

THERE’S MORE!“We still didn’t think that that was incentive enough,” smiled Jamie.“If cars don’t do it for you, we’ll now offer you another greatalternative. Instead of choosing the 3 series coupe or the Z4 you couldnow choose a briefcase containing £25,000

“Or if you get to Premier and hold it for 10 months , you could haveearned as much as £100,000 and instead of choosing the 3 Seriesconvertible or the fantastic new 5 Series BMW then you could nowchoose a briefcase just like this, containing £30,000.”

• Hit SED Level for the first time (5 Gold Distributors wide)• Hold for 10 Periods out of 13 Periods• Qualify for a BMW 3 Series Coupe OR a BMW Z4 or ’take the

money’ - £25,000

• Hit Premier level for the first time (5 Bronze legs)• Hold for 10 Periods out of 13 Periods• Qualify for a 5 Series BMW or a 3 Series Convertible or ’take the

money’ - £30,000

• Hit Bronze Executive Distributor level for the first time• Hold it for 10 out of 13 Periods• Qualify for a Mini First complete with Kleeneze branding, which

you can add your personal details to

Something to get CARried away by!

MINI INCENTIVECurrently the Mini scheme is a quarterly competition, but the new MiniFirst incentive will allow unlimited qualifiers, rewarding anyone whohits the Bronze Executive Distributor level and holds it for 10 out of 13periods. Your Mini First will come complete with Kleeneze brandingand also allow you to add your personal contact details.

THE INCENTIVES IN A NUTSHELL

It was the biggest draw Kleeneze has ever done – a FREE Mini First! All you had to do to get a ticket into the draw is to move up theSales Plan and attend the Showcase. And the winner was….after ahorribly long drum roll….Annette Bradley!

EWB caught up with the Gold Distributor to find out how she feltabout being our first First winner!

“When my name was called, I was just in a state of shock,” Annettetold us. “Really complete disbelief. I never win anything! In nearly 60years, I can’t even remember winning a raffle! I had been thinkingthis time, though, ‘you are going to win it, you are going to win it’so maybe that did make the difference!

I started my Kleeneze business in July 2008 after being ‘worked on’for 4 months by my daughter and attending the Summer Showcasewith her. At that time I had been a full-time GP for 30 years. We

had opened a second surgery 6 years earlier and had increased our list size quite rapidly without increasing our medical manpower and I wasfinding it difficult to cope with the workload.

Looking at how pressurised my life was becoming, I’m sure most people would think that I must have been mad to even think about taking onanother commitment and I was sceptical about what my daughter was telling me about the Kleeneze opportunity. I was thinking aboutbecoming a member of her team to try to help her and also wondering if I could last out in the practice, until I was 60 and eligible for my fullpension, so I went along to the Showcase to see what it was all about for myself. I came away convinced that it was a real opportunity and thatthere was also a chance that it could provide me with some choice over how long / how much I remained involved in the practice – so I took theplunge and signed up!

I obviously had very limited time available but found that once I had overcome the initial nerves and self-consciousness about putting thecatalogues out on my own that I really enjoyed it. The exercise, thinking time and the opportunity to deal with people on a different footing wasvery nice.

My retail has been worked around a very busy schedule and has made steady progress. In just under a year from starting out, I got my first teammember from a ‘wanted’ flyer and really caught the bug! I got so excited I was talking to everyone about what I was doing (including patients!)and within another couple of months had a team of 5. I have now just reduced my involvement in the practice to working 3 days/week and haveevery intention of retiring at the end of November!

Saturday was really fantastic anyway. I was really nervous going over the stage for recognition, but then I was up there again at the end of theday! Now I’m definitely going to be saying to myself, ‘you are going to New York’!”

You may have come across the Macmillan stand on your travels on Saturday at the NIA. Our officialcharity was there promoting our new Coffee Morning Challenge and putting a smile on people’s faceswith their massive inflatable coffee cup!

If you didn’t get a chance to talk to them, the Macmillan £25/€25 Challenge is a twist on thetraditional coffee morning. We know that you hard working Distributors may not have the time to puton and promote a large coffee morning, so we’re asking everyone to take part in the Macmillan£25/€25 Challenge instead, helping fund a Macmillan Nurse for an hour.

Whether you choose to do a Coffee Morning on the official date (24 September), a sizzle beforehand,a team competition that lasts throughout September or simply donate £25 yourself, it all goestowards supporting this incredibly worthy charity. Raise the money any which way you please. Thereare loads of ideas on the DSA to help you and there will be a prize for the most unique way ofraising £25, so get your thinking caps on!

When you’re ready all you need to do is use the ordering code 05908 to donate as little or asmuch as you wish. Let us know how your fundraising is going at [email protected] tobe in with a chance of winning that prize!

Are you up for the challenge?

I CARn’t believe it!
