Spring. Just saying the word conjures up images of de-cluttering your home, health and lifestyle. With the days getting longer, it’s a time whenpeople embark on new things – getting over that winter lethargy and springing into action.

As the best-selling Stephen Covey says in his The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: “Did you ever consider how ridiculous it would be to try tocram on a farm - to forget to plant in the spring, play all summer then cram in the fall to bring in the harvest? The farm is a natural system. Theprice must be paid and the process followed. You always reap what you sow; there is no shortcut."

There is probably no better statement to describe this business – put in the hard work and the results can be amazing. Now is the time to dustoff those plans and goals and really sow the seeds that could see an incredibly fruitful harvest come the autumn.

And speaking of autumn, the criteria for ‘Blackpool’ kicks off today! With our Spring Destination qualifiers set to sail the Caribbean next week, have you reviewed your goals to join us on the next amazing Destination? Next week we’ll be giving you a little taster of what’s to come in theautumn, but for now, review the criteria (page six) and set those goals.

The launch of the Autumn Destination takes place at the Summer Showcase on Saturday 9 May and we already have some fantastic speakerslined up. Get your plans in place and start your journey onto achieving your goals and in return, we promise that the Showcase will give you themotivation, inspiration and training you need to make that final sprint to the finish line.

To celebrate the start of a new season, we also have a brand new challenge set up, Kleeneze’s Seven Days of Sails. It’s something that we reallyhope you’ll throw yourself into. See pages 3 and 4 for all the details.

Shake off those winter blues. This is the best possible time to be in this business and together we want to spring into action and get yourbusiness ship shape before the summer arrives!

20.03.09 Issue 11 ENTERPRIZE WEEKLY BULLETIN

With Kriss Akabusi lined up for this year’s explosive Summer Showcase, we thought itcouldn’t get much better. However, the latest news to be revealed is that the verydistinguished Director of the Direct Selling Association, Richard Berry, is also to makean appearance.

Since 1965, the DSA has been the recognised trade association for the Direct Selling channelof distribution. Today its member companies account for 59% of total Direct Sales andmembership of this governing body is a powerful aid to the development of any business.

The relationship between the DSA and Kleeneze goes back a long time, but the one with itsDirector is perhaps more personal. In 2007, Berry told Enterprize Magazine: “Way back in1969, I was a management consultant, called in to restore the fortunes of Kleeneze plc –which, at that time, was still operating in much the same way as it was in the 1920s. Afterspending a few weeks ‘on the road’ knocking on doors, talking to customers and sellingbrushes and polishes, I was sufficiently convinced that this was a great way of doing businessand decided to join the Kleeneze board – a short while later becoming its managing director.Within a year, I decided to change the business to a multilevel organisation - and so Kleenezebecame the DSA’s first MLM member.”

To find out more about Kleeneze’s roots and how direct selling continues to outperformmost other retail methods; you need to hear it from this key figure of our industry.

We’re incredibly excited and honoured to have Richard with us on 9 May at the NIA, soplease make sure you join us for this amazing appearance. To book tickets, simply use code00027 when inputting your normal product order.

Silver Senior Executives Peter and Myrna Wellock are truly experiencingKleeneze success over the past few months. Along with an ever-growingbusiness, the pair has also won a brand new Mini Cooper as well as qualifyingfor the Caribbean Cruise.

Peter is set to join the line-up of our fantastic Network speakers at the SummerShowcase on 9 May. The ex-police sergeant will be focusing his training on howto sponsor and how to help your sponsor’s businesses grow.

Having joined Kleeneze over ten years ago, Peter has a wealth of experience inteam building and will be showing you daily routines to help you sponsor, howto approach people hit by redundancy and how to use this recession to reallyhelp build your business.

We’re all aware of a boom in Kleeneze through the unstable economic climate, but you’re about to find out how to really capitalise on it!

“After being made redundant from my job as an HGV driver, I triedworking for an agency but wasn’t getting enough work. At the sametime Dorothy had her hours cut down to 16 per week in her job as ashop assistant. We decided to take our future security into our own

hands and start our own Kleeneze business because everything wesaw, read and heard was positive.

We started with a Super 200 Kit, placing the catalogues two or threetimes a week for four weeks and kept them topped up when wequalified for the free Retail Kit.

The business has delivered everything that was promised in terms ofresults, help and support. We have also introduced our first teammember which means we are on track for a full refund of our initialinvestment.

This is our cheque for our first four weeks, just on personal retail, which we can now build on.”

“Michael Khatkar made such a good job of modelling the outdoorwear at the last Showcase, that we bought a set each. We decidedto initiate the suits into the British weather and they have provedvery successful. Not only do they keep us dry, they also advertise us

as well.

Mavis was walking to a house to pickup a catalogue, when the next doorneighbour stopped her to ask if shecould have a catalogue. She hadseen the Kleeneze motif on Mavis’back. Mavis instantly gave her a packto look at, saying we would collect itlater. However, before we had drivenaway, the lady gave us back thecatalogue with an order!

So it is one up to us and one up tothe Kleeneze branded clothing.”
