we booked the holiday until the time wearrived in Portugal. The reception from thestaff at Avanti was friendly and polite andnothing was too much trouble for anyof them.

Our flight and also our transport from Faroairport to the resort of Praia da Oura was pre-organised so, at the airport our cases were atthe carousel before we were and thetransport was waiting for us on arrival.

We booked in at our hotel, The Beach ViewClub. Once again the staff were very friendly.We were shown to our apartment, which wasspotlessly clean and very comfortable. Theview from our apartment was splendid,showing palm trees, the pool and the sea. Itwas unbelievable and lovely to wake up to.

Throughout the week we went on variousguided tours with a coach firm called FollowMe Tours. Once again the information andlocal knowledge was outstanding. The guideon the Monchique Mountains tour wasexceptional and nothing was too muchtrouble - she even arranged for us to haveour lunch in a lovely restaurant withoutstanding views.

There were some very interesting walksaround the area and we found the land trainso novel and convenient. Albufeira (the oldtown) was just a short distance away andbreathtaking in its appeal.

We can say in all honesty that this holiday hasbeen one of the most memorable holidaysthat we have ever had. Our hope is that wewill return to experience that wonderfuloccasion yet again.
