The perfect summer experience

With over 30 years of running summer schools for young people from all over the world, Kings Summer has given thousands of students a summer they’ll never forget.

To give our students the best possible experience, we make sure all our summer centres are in ideal locations, with excellent facilities and highly-motivated staff, many of whom return to the Kings Summer family year after year.

We pride ourselves on offering plenty of individual support and attention, and ensure that each child’s safety and well-being are always our top priorities.

The range and flexibility of our courses allow us to cater for a host of different interests, and for 2016 we are delighted to be offering residential programmes at two fantastic new locations — South Bank University (Central London) in the UK, and Bentley University (Boston) in the USA.

We are also pleased to introduce a range of new specialist activities, which can be booked in conjunction with the main residential summer course. These include horse riding and tennis in Bath, and golf and performing arts in Cheltenham.

Options for all interests

At Kings, our summer courses are both structured and fun. This way, our students are happy, enthusiastic and motivated to learn. We offer courses for juniors and teenagers, all of which comprise a mix of English, activities and excursions.

Our programme range includes:

1. Residential summer courses for juniors (ages 8 – 17)

• First-class school and university campuses in the UK and US

• Fully-inclusive and fully supervised for complete peace of mind

• Option in some locations to book additional sessions in specialist tuition or activities, including horse riding, tennis, golf, filmcraft, performing arts and academic English

2. Vacation Extra courses for teenagers (ages 14 – 17)

• Available in London, Bournemouth and Oxford at Kings’ year-round centres

• Supervised but with some freedom — ideal for teenagers

• Available with residence or homestay (London and Bournemouth only)

3. Specialist courses

• Parent and Child at Moreton Hall

• Intensive Academic in Oxford

VACATION EXTRA CENTRES Typical age range: 14 – 17

Our Residential Summer Centres offer an all-inclusive campus-type experience for young learners. Offering superb facilities in some of the best locations throughout the UK and USA, your child will enjoy a perfect summer of learning, sports and activities in a safe and secure environment. Meals and accommodation are provided, and there are fully-supervised excursions.

Core course:

There is also the option to add on specialist sports or tutoring sessions at certain locations. These are in addition to core lessons and activities, and a supplement applies.

Our three city-based Vacation Extra Centres cater for teenage learners who are looking for a combination of structured study and activities, and some independent free time. Accommodation and some activity venues are located off site.

• Typical age range: 15 – 17

• Lesson plan: 27 hours of lessons per week

• One full-day and one half-day excursion per week

• Full-board, off-site residential accommodation

This programme offers a combination of general English lessons, academic subjects and IELTS preparation. Students also have a programme of excursions. Accommodation is available in a nearby residence.
