We Are Equal

Page 2: KidWise Magazine - October 2011

Dear Readers,

I love autumn! It is an exciting time of year for KICKS. We live in an area where the leaves change, the weather changes and the look of our sunsets change. Apples, children, family, and home each fall, can be a special place. This makes me think of the changes that the Lord brings our way. Those changes can be ex-pressed through "harvest". It is the Lord's plan to bring not only those seasons of planting but those seasons of harvest to each of our lives. It is important not to lose sight of our harvest.

The word of God tells us that Jesus is our first fruit. He as the Son not only died for our sins but 'raised' from the dead becoming God's harvest for us and as He is called, the first fruit of harvest. Through Him our harvest comes.

"But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept." 1 Corinthians 15:20

He is the first fruit of 'life' in all areas of our lives. He is our salva-tion through the power of the resurrection. He is our harvest and He is the example that God's plan is to harvest great salvation and His great blessing in our lives.

As you celebrate this fall, keep your focus and eyes on the harvest. It is designed by the Creator that we experience harvest time. Not only is this meant for the crops we have planted in the soil of the earth, but it is for all things. This includes the things He has planted for us by the Spirit. He has brought us the harvest of His blessing, His holiness, and the first fruit of Jesus! He planted Jesus in the earth to raise Him up for our harvest!

God bless you this harvest season,'raising faith-filled kids through the word of God',

Purposed relationships are meant for every walk of life and for every call of life. Finding those relationships the Lord has for you takes time and I believe comes

through seasons. I think on this and think how amazing seasons are and how God can use relationships as 'seasoning' in our lives and purpose.

When you season food you release flavor. Seasoning is an ingredient when added to a main dish brings out taste and enhances it. When relationships are the

seasoning to your ministry, your ministry is enhanced and others can experience the better flavor. At KICKS Victory Harvest, we believe the Lord's plan within a

ministry is relational. Once you personally begin to experience the seasoned fla-vor the Lord designs for you and your personal relationships it will effect your call-

ing and purpose. This principle is the same in our personal lives. Ministries are made up simply of people with calling and purpose who are destined to be to-gether. All relationships are meant and designed by the Lord to fulfill that pur-

pose.

When you look through the history of this ministry, we can find their were relation-ships established in seasons. These seasons produced specifics. Time was sorting

out those called to be with us and those who weren't. It's as if the Lord was saying to us that I am, "Seasoning through Seasons".

When you become aware of it, you as a ministry and individually, can see the various seasons you have been through, especially relationally. That would be;

Spring: A season of growth and watering your relationships. This season develops into those summer relationships and births them. This season represents the plant-

ing, the growth, and development of relationships.

"To every th ing there is a season, and a t ime to every

purpose under heaven. . . " Eccles iastes 3:1

Page 5: KidWise Magazine - October 2011

KidWise 5

Winter: A season where you find those who are truly with you and walking along side of you. These are those spring to summer relationships that weather through time. This season you find those who support through long lasting relationships that are rooted even though things look barren. This time reveals the counterfeit, as those who are really with you remain. These aren't relationships that quit on you. The thing to remember about winter is that there is fruit in every barren looking tree that is ready to birth the first sign of spring and explode in bloom as summer approach.

Fall: This season represents the harvest and the removing of relationships that aren't lasting. It also represents change. We can walk together and experi-ence the changes the Lord has for us together. We can experience the bless-ing in the love the Lord has designed for us in these relationships. Relation-ships pass through seasons. The word of God tells us that there will always be with us seed time and harvest, and that seasons will remain as long as the earth remains. Our relationships are no different.

Within our lives, friendships, spouses, children, and ministries, we find our re-lationships flow in seasons. Recognizing these seasons establishes strength to your relationships. They are planted, they grow, they bloom, they change, and they pass through weathering with the beauty you can see in fallen win-ter's snow. We are together with those purposed relationships He has de-signed for us.

Lasting relationships bring harvest in your lives. Relationally ministries may take effort and certainly take seasons of development, but, they are worth every minute of the time that passes. They are for a lifetime, so give them the seasons they deserve.

This is Levi Leman from the Jerusalem Times and an

interesting thing has happened for the second time right here at the sea of

Galilee. People from all over had been listening to Jesus for three days and Jesus fed

them with seven loaves of bread and a few fish. There were four thousand men,

besides women and children.

The first time this occurred

with five thousand men,

besides women and children

with five loaves and two fish!.

Now, it was said that Jesus again had compassion on the people as they had been with

him three days and had no food. He told his disciples that he did not want to send

them away hungry lest they

faint on the way.

Bystanders reported that when he checked with them

they reported back that they

had seven loaves of bread and

a few fish. Jesus had them all

sit down and in front of them,

took the bread and fish and

gave thanks for them and

broke them and gave them to

the disciples to pass them out. The crowd was reported to be hungry and they all ate their fill. When they collected the fragments from the meal there were seven, many counted

them, and found seven large baskets full left. All this from

seven loaves and a few fish.

People could not explain how

it happened but they all saw

it. I even had a couple of fish

sandwiches. Now it is time for a nap. Amazing... Levi Leman is signing off for now.

Jerusalem Times“He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks,

he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and were satisfied...” Matthew 15:35-37

thanks for what I give.

Jesus multiplies what I have and satisfies me.

Well i t ' s been another wonderful month here at the KICKS corral . We

have been busy rounding up new KICKS members, working on our third

feature length production, The Light Of Freedom, and hearing al l the

great things God is doing in l ives al l around the world! I was thinking

just how wonderful our God is , He is just as powerful in Africa as He is

in the US. Whatever He does for one He wil l gladly do for another, i f

we receive i t done by faith. Faith is the force that puts the things of

God into act ion in our l ives. God wants us to use our faith so we can re-

ceive al l His best . Mustard seed faith is al l we need according to God's

word, that s imply means speak God's word, speak faith, and you wil l be

the next shinning example of the power of God.

Some recent Pastor Rick tweets: "FAVOR comes to those... who are NOT expecting it. If it's expected... it becomes a HANDOUT."

"If grief and sorrow is how God gets a message to us... Why did He give us The Word and The Holy Spirit? Reject the "tragedy doctrine"."

"JESUS nudges, satan pushes. Discern the difference, it's liberating.

Have you ever heard of the scripture about how we are the apple of His eye? In Psalm 17:8 it says, "Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings".

We are coming into a great harvest season and apples are just around the corner in abun-dance. Apples, apples, apples. Proverbs 7:1-2 tells us, "My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live: and my law as the apple of thine eye." Here we go again, not only has the Lord told us in His word that we are the apple of His eye, but that we should hold His word as the apple of our eye.

Again, in Deuteronomy 32:9-10, the Lord tells that we are found by Him where ever we are because we are His por-tion, we are His people, we are His inheritance. Because of this, He shields us, cares for us, and guards us as the apple of His eye. Not only that, He tells us in Zechariah 2:8, that "whoever would touch us touches the apple of His eye."Have you ever heard a father say, "This is my daughter, she is the apple of my eye?" When this term is used, it is such a term of endearment. To be the apple of your father's eye is such a special place. It means you are the highlight of his view, you are the glory of his existence, you are his precious love. If it is this way for an

earthly father, how much more can it be for us with our Heav-enly Father?

In Psalm 17:6, the word tells us, "I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.'

1. To be the apple of His eye means He hears us and He in-clines His ear to us.

In Psalm 17:7, the word tells us, "Shew thy marvellous lov-ingkindness..."

2. To be the apple of His eye means He shows us His marvel-lous lovingingkindness.

In Psalm 17:7, the verse goes on to say, "...O thou that sav-est by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them."

3. To be the apple of His eye means He keeps us and pro-tects us. In verse 8, it goes on to say, "Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings..."

Our children are the apple of our eyes and as God's children we are the apple of His eye.

As we study God's word, we find that the word apple,

means pupil. The pupil of the eye is the very center of your eye that allows the light to en-ter. The words 'of the eye' is the Hebrew word, 'bath', which is defined as designation of women of a particular place. As a father loves his daughter and declares she is the apple of his eye, the Father in Heaven de-clares to us that we are His central focus. His eye is on us. His pupil is filled with light as we are the apple. We bring light to Him and to the world through the Son. We are not only the apple of His eye, we are set in a particular place in Him and we are set in a de-fined designation in the world. We are the light of Him and are set in His hand and essence and designated for others to see all that He is through us as He focuses His love to us.

To be the apple of God's eye is a place of great glory. It is the place of defined love and en-dearment. It is the place of His light and as Jesus has brought the Light into the world (John 1:9), through His sacrifice and resurrection He has made us the Light of the world. (Mat-thew 5:14) We are truly the apple of His eye.

The world has made Christianity and relig-ion into the perspective of "do's and dont's." Yes, there are the things that fol-lowers of Jesus don't do.Why do Chris-tians not drink or smoke, or even as simple as agree with harry potter? Is it because we don't like having fun? No, its because it keeps us from walking in the plan God has fully intended for us and others.

You see the word, "Religion," has created morals and "do's and dont's" but Christ has freed us from the law and unright-eousness through the love He has for us. Yes, Christians mess up and don't fully live up to their full purpose, and even become hypocrites. Does that make them "less" than other believers? No, it makes them malnutritioned in knowing the love and plan God has for them.

If you knew how valuable you were and the people around you, you wouldn't live by the "do's and dont's" you would live by love for God and for others, even if that means keeping the ones in line that God has placed in your life through love.

Its exactly like parenting. Your parents correct and establish "rules" because they love you and know drugs or bad influences are not apart of the plan for your life.

Even the world understands: you break the law, you go to jail. We as teens and fol-lowers of Jesus know if we don't fully grasp the love of Jesus there is not pur-pose. My Pastor says, "The love of God motivates us in character, morals and do's and don'ts. We don't because we love Him, we do because He loves us."

The world blames Christians for judging only because they feel judged and don't un-derstand the love Jesus has for them. Please read Pastor Rick's blog, The Spirit Of Liberty. You'll see that judging others keeps you from experiencing the liberty God has for you.

No one is better than another, one might just understand their purpose and Gods love for them better, and its that "ones" responsibility to let the world understand and testify truth.

J o h n 3 : 11 - 211 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not per-ish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not con-demned; but he who does not believe is con-demned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
