Our wide range of General English Language

courses cater for English Language students of

all levels. Quality English Language teaching

combined with small classes, guarantees results.

We offer General English courses for all levels -

Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced, Intensive &

Business English. Each English course enables

you to combine English classes with structured

study sessions, leaving you time to practice your

English during social activities with your new

friends!

The curriculum for all courses is well-planned

and the emphasis is on making the classes as

Classes take place five days per week, Monday

to Friday. Evening classes are also available.

Classes cover the four skills of speaking, reading,

listening and writing. All levels are offered from

beginners to advanced.

Students are tested on arrival and placed in a

class suitable to their level. Students can move

up through the levels as their standard improves.

Examination classes are held for those students

wishing to sit English exams. These exams are

recognised throughout the world and are essential

for entrance to an English speaking university.

your home country to study in Ireland can be very

traumatic. We understand your feelings and are

to give students advice on learning English, exams

EU or EEA Citizens – If you are a citizen of a

member state of the EU or EEA you do not require

a visa to travel to Ireland.

NON EU or EEA Citizens – The Department of

Foreign Affairs have listed a number of countries

who do not require a visa to travel to Ireland for

less than 90 days. Any citizens that are not listed

require a visa to enter Ireland.

If you require a visa, Kavanagh College can assist

you in organising a work/study visa and you can

officially work 20 hours a week while studying and

full-time during holidays.

Your selected course can be taken during the

morning, afternoon or evening time; Monday to

Friday and consists of 25 weeks of course time

and 27 weeks of holidays to complete an academic

year. Students must study for a minimum of 15

hours per week during the 25 weeks of course

time.
