My name is Michaela Kavanagh and I am a fourth year Veterinary medicine student in UCD and I am also the Welfare representative on the VetSoc.

“I think that when it comes to gender equality it kind of begins and ends with education. Childrenknow nothing about discrimination until they’re taught to discriminate so if they’re shown that everyone is equal and entitled to the same rights at an early age, it will just become normal. As well as education it’s important to remember it costs nothing to be kind.”
