ADORATION Thank you to all who have spent time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament during this time of quarantine. Due to events beginning to take place on the weekends, Adoration will take place Monday-Friday only. Thank you.

CCW DUES Thank you to all the women who made their financial contribution for the work of our Council of Catholic Women and the Archdiocesan CCW. We ask Our Lady of Good Council to bless you especially during these trying times. If you have not had an opportunity to pay your dues, it is not too late. Because of the church closures, the archdiocesan publicity for the annual drive was postponed. The dues for 2020 are $10.00. You may still put your cash or check in an envelope marked St. Henry or St. Mary and send it to the parish office.

TRINITY Sunday

Today the Church celebrates the Feast of the Holy Trinity, which follows Pentecost because it is only by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Third Person of the Trinity, that the mystery of the Trinity can be known. The mystery of the most Holy Trinity is a basic doctrine of Faith in Christianity, understandable not with our heads but with our hearts. It teaches us that there are three distinct Persons in one God, sharing the same Divine Nature. Our mind cannot grasp this doctrine which teaches that 1+1+1 = 1and not 3. St. Augustine wrote: "You see the Trinity if you see love." According to him, the Father is the lover, the Son is the loved one and the Holy Spirit is the personification of the very act of loving.

Do you recognize the presence of the Triune God within you? Do you recognize that same God in everyone you meet?

If not, what keeps you from truly seeing God present in them?

Domingo de Santísima TRINIDAD Hoy la Iglesia celebra la fiesta de la Santísima Trinidad, que sigue Pentecostés porque es sólo por la inspiración del Espíritu Santo, tercera persona de la Trinidad, que se puede conocer el misterio de la Santísima Trinidad. El misterio de la Trinidad es una doctrina básica de la fe para los cristianos, comprensible no con la cabeza, sino con el corazón. Nos enseña que hay tres Personas distintas en un solo Dios, compartiendo la misma Naturaleza Divina. Nuestra mente no puede captar esta doctrina que enseña que 1+1+1 = 1 y no 3. San Agustín escribió: "Ves a la Trinidad si ves el amor". Según él, el Padre es el amante, el Hijo es el ser querido y el Espíritu Santo es la personificación del acto mismo de amar.

¿Reconoces la presencia del Dios Trino dentro de ti? ¿Reconoces a ese mismo Dios en todos los demás?

Si no, ¿qué es lo que te impide ver verdaderamente a Dios presente en ellos?

Comunión 1 │ Un Mandamiento Nuevo

Un mandamiento nuevo nos da el Senor, Que nos amemos todos como nos ama Dios.

La señal de los Cristianos es amarnos como hermanos.

Perdonemos al hermano como Cristo nos perdona.

Quien no ama a sus hermanos miente si a Dios dice que ama.

Donde hay caridad y amor Cristo estáy está su Iglesia.

El que no ama a sus hermanos no se acerque a este convite

Quiten odios y rencores de todos los corazones.

Si al enfermo visitamos a Dios mismo consolamos. Cristo, luz, verdad y vida al perdon y amor invita.
