Brothers, Happy Summer!! Hope all is well with you and your families! Happy July 4th to everyone. Hope you are enjoying the hot weather and our independence from the virus and all the restrictions that we were experiencing. Our council is back up and running. Many Thanks to Danny Thompson and the men who put together a great BBQ to celebrate the holiday. Congrats to Brian for running the fishing trip which is a tradition at our great council. The Columbiette Anniversary is July 18 call Joan or Tammy for info. 631-242-1151. Our Knight of Big Bucks was a great success many Thanks to Jamie Monaco, Ron Zito, DJ Nicky Verdicchio, Vito Langella, Dan Thompson for helping set up for the event. There were happy winners all around! We will be starting up another raffle shortly! We got through the pandemic together and our council will move on. Line dancing resumes 7/16.Please come down and support our council. We are discussing upcoming events and want to tell members to come to a meeting and give us any ideas you may have in regards to events we can run! COLUMBIETTE PRESIDENT MESSAGE Dear Sister Columbiettes, Finally, we are able to have our 60th Anniversary celebration on Sunday, July 18th at 12:30pm at the Irish Coffee Pub in the Waterford Room – upstairs. This will consist of a full dinner. We will also have a raffle at this event with lots and lots of gift certificates and prizes to support our Charities. We will also attend the 9:30am Mass on Sunday, July 18th as a group. So, whether you are going to the 60th Anniversary celebration or not please attend the Mass at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church on Sunday, July 18th at 9:30am. Be proud of who we are at what we stand for. We cut a few checks in June: $19.95 for filing the IRS Form 990N-EZ for our Non-Profit, $75.00 for the Wreath for Memorial Day. We won $50 for our 300 Club number. A big thank you to Sue Hogan and Annemarie D’Attoma for chairing our June Raffle. Our total income from this raffle was $1,044. I would also like to thank Phyllis Otto, Ann Gregorius, Joan Loring, Marie Muenkel, Joanne Sciacca and Inez Schillinger for helping us set up that night. I would also like to thank all those who donated baskets for this event. Without teamwork this event would not have been as successful as it was. Continued in next column ….

Please pray for Fr. Grace as he’s going through some medial issues. Continued from previous column… Before you know it, the 4th of July will be here. This is a day we honor the brave men and women who fought for our freedom. I would also like to thank all Veterans and current service men and women for your service. Let Freedom Ring! Well until next month keep safe, happy, and well. God Bless. -Tammy-
