MARINE PILOT SCOPE

- MSFD requires the collection of data sets via monitoring programme (art.11)

and support assessments (art.8) and these for these to be made available to

EC in accordance with INSPIRE (art.19.3).

- To assist MSs in bringing Marine spatial data management related to the

MSFD implementation in line with INSPIRE requirements for selected data

flow.

- To understand the technical requirements of both directives and to develop

processes which accommodate their respective needs.

- Guidelines documents and example implementations as starting point to

further inspire the MSFD.
