Status Quo 4. Status QuoWhat do you do with yourwaiting times at the airport? 5. Status QuoUse your mobile device? 6. Status QuoRead your favorite book or newspaper? 7. Status QuoRamble through the airport shopping mall? 8. Status QuoYou see... 9. Status QuoThere is a lot of room to improvepeoples airport experience. 10. Vision 11. VisionOur ambition was toconnect | assist |! inform | delight airport travelers. 12. VisionWe came up with the idea to give travelers the chance toexchange holiday experiences. The system assists their exchange and helps them keepnew learnings about their destination. 13. Strategy 14. Strategytravel stories 15. StrategyJoin ambient intelligence system for matchmaking &Conversation enrichment:Connects people suitable for each other & helps them share theirpersonal travel stories & expertise. 16. Strategy ComponentsMatchmaking via smartphone app Redirect to touch tables which are located within a lounge 17. Strategy MatchmakingThe System considers factors like the destination, location within the airport, the expertise and interests of the travelers. 18. StrategyThis is how the lounge might look like... 19. Strategy 20. StrategyPeople at the tables have somedegree of privacy... 21. Strategy...while people on the outside are still able totake a peek & get hooked. 22. Strategy Exchange takes place at the touch tables 23. Strategy It helps illustrating stories with different kind of media, which are displayed on the table automatically during the conversation via voice recognition. 24. Strategy The table simplies and enhances the experience of telling, understanding and sharing of stories. 25. Interaction 26. InteractionThe interface of the touch table is divided into two parts.WIREFRAMES 27. InteractionThe outer ring holds the content suggestions which are mainly determined by voice recognition. Every time the system detects a new conversation topics, new elements tting to the topic are loaded into the outer ring.WIREFRAMES 28. InteractionThe content within the inner circle is picked via direct interactions of the users.WIREFRAMES 29. Interaction The user takes a seat on an empty table, it is branded with the destination. The outer ring is lled with elements tting to the interests and destination of the user. The system then automatically suggests other users who are near, which the initial user can invite to the touch table. INVITEWIREFRAMES 30. Interaction When a traveler decides, that a suggested element supports his story, he can tap the element and it is enlarged and shown in the center. In this form the element is the center of the conversation. It can be rotated so everyone can easily see it.WIREFRAMES 31. Interaction If the element is tapped in the full view again it is minimized and placed within the inner circle as a thumbnail. From there on the users have the chance to pick up all the topics to further deepen the subject or inspire new ones.WIREFRAMES 32. InteractionAlso, from this view the user can synchronize elements with his smartphone app and take them along by just dragging the element towards himself to the border of the inner circle.WIREFRAMES 33.
