Project 1: A Study for Magic

Project 1 will be a short and intense exercise, where you are asked to work inpairs to design a small study, inspired by magic and illusion. Project 2: A city of Magic

studying Venice from afar - city which holds sway as one of the most enchanting places inthe world. The unit will explore the art and science of Italy from the Renaissance to thepresent day. We will consult history books, maps, photographs and postcards, trace forgot-ten events and remember overlooked or celebrate notorious spaces. We will research newtechniques for interpreting Italys hidden dimensions. Here we will begin to imagine newconstructions indelibly inked into the fabric of the city, yet aiming to reshape its future.
